Bear smokehouse offers consistent quality throughout my many visits there. It checks off all the boxes you would expect at a smokehouse. The main service area is very open and family oriented. The bar sometimes has karaoke and other events. Probably the more notable things on the menu would include the moink balls, balls, the brisket, the spicy Texas sausage, and the burnt ends. There's a series of great sides, most notably either the broccoli salad or collard greens. Corn bread is decent and the new brisket chili is worth checking out.
