To start off, I do like this place. The food is good, the place is always full, and the quality is impressive for being located in such a small town. My biggest issue is the lack of consistency. The menu seems to change often, the ingredients seem to change for each food item, and the way the food is cooked and prepared seems to be inconsistent. For one example, I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich a couple months ago and it was made with a dry rub. A month ago, that same sandwich was made with a buffalo sauce. I much prefer the sauce. A couple of weeks ago I ordered a filet med rare, and it was prepared as blue rare. I mean steak tartare, barely seared. I've included a couple of pictures. I will certainly continue to come back, but as a guy who has worked in multiple restaurants for almost ten years, my one suggestion would be to maybe shorten the menu a little and focus on the quality and consistency of what's on it.

Have had several meals here now. The lasagna is flavorful. The chicken sandwiches are surprisingly tender and moist. The staff works hard to cover the large real estate they have to work with. Patio area has lots of potential. Updating to 5 stars, finally. - 8/29/19 - I'm not a fan of handing out 5 stars like most. However, I also don't let servers, wait times, or anything else beside food taste affect my rating. That's all I care about, and I really wish Google would create separate star rating categories for non-food related submissions. Anywhooo, I altered my star rating for several reasons: consistent quality food all the way down to the sides. The French fries rival some of the best I've ever had. Just the small details that the owner goes out of his way to provide. I really can't think of too many small towns that have a place where pretty much everything on the menu is more hit than miss. Kudos J.

We came in from just driving around. Bopping country roads and ready for a meal. The server we had was great but, we heard others talking in a tone not appreciated. I asked about an appetizer and was told the chips are fresh made. If they are, they are no better than a value brand bag. The spinach dip was okay kind of bland as far as things go. I got a Buffalo ranch crispy chix sandwich and fries. The chix was okay. It was a dry seasoning. I added onion and tomato to it and I'm glad I did because the lettuce looked sad. The chicken was thin and overcooked making it crispy yes but, dry. The fries were undercooked so I didn't eat those and they were boxed for the dog. My partner got the Mac wrap with brisket and pulled pork. The smoked meat was clearly packaged and brought in or, made early and used later. The food was not great but, the drinks and service we received were great.

I never leave reviews and I'm super sad to be leaving this one! A friend recommended Windsor's Pub and I was super excited to try it. We were sat at 6:51 pm, ordered by 6:55pm, and were told at 7:38pm (almost an hour later) that our order was never placed. We had to completely reorder because it had been so long that our server had forgotten what we had even ordered.

We were very understanding, reordered, and asked to speak with a manager about the bill. Our server told us she would grab the manager for us and that she placed the order.

Another 15 min later, we still did not have food and had not seen a manager. I grabbed another server to ask again to speak to a manager, and we finally told there was not one there.

I told this server the situation and asked to find out how much our bill would be comped prior to bringing our food out because we did not want to pay full price after waiting over an hour for our food (had been at the restaurant for over an hour and a half). After speaking with the manager, the server came back to tell us that they could only give us 25% off because it was a "busy night" and they "ran out of things". We reiterated that the reason our food was over an hour late was because the server never placed our order and not because of the restaurant being busy or running out of ingredients.

The server then got an attitude with us when we said we would instead be eating elsewhere (at 8:30pm after now waiting 2 hours for food).

We would love to have this issue resolved, but will be highly recommending against going to this...
