Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Winfield

Lobby was in disrepair and dirty. Behind the counter looked even worse. Immediately I was questioning my decision to try it. The counter worker turned around to take our order and her uniform shirt was so dirty I almost said something about it. Crusty stuff all over it and so covered in stains that it looked as if it hadn’t been washed in a month. She took our order then turned to make our ice cream. She went to wash her hands and just ran water over them for 2 seconds no soap or sanitizer. Then just shook them dry as she reached for the cup for my ice cream. I did not want to be in there any longer than I had to so I left with the ice cream but unfortunately could not bring myself to eat it after all I’d seen. I threw the whole thing away. Is there a water shortage in winfield? when my friend (a paying customer) asked for a cup of water they gave her water in a mini sized blizzard cup (less than 6 oz. of water), the smallest cup they have in the store. Then when I asked for water (I was also a paying customer) the girl working asked if I wanted to buy a bottle of water, but I was fine with tap water. She then told me that the biggest size container she could give me water in was a small blizzard cup. I don’t understand why two PAYING CUSTOMERS were given a hard time and also were being denied of a large cup...

I don't understand why you folks patronize this location. It's disgusting inside. That and the so called owner replies with the same apologetic nonsense, and refers you to contact the corporate owners everytime you leave a comment and a 1star review.

To the so called owner try taking responsibility for your own disgusting store. Try cleaning it every night like other restaurants do. Just because you don't serve burgers and fries doesn't mean you don't have to stick to the guidelines of the health department..
