[COVID-19 Note - late August: I felt safe eating in here. All employees wore masks properly, tables were well-spaced, and the entire restaurant was sparkling clean. They are doing a good job.]

This is an excellent little family restaurant. If you want breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or all at once, they have you covered. Their food is hot, yummy, and plentiful (the taco salad was HUGE), and the service is attentive and friendly.

They did a partial remodel during lock-down this spring; their new flooring in particular is gorgeous! (They removed the carpet, enabling them to clean more fully, and replaced it with "painted concrete" (I'm sure there's a fancy word for it) in off-white with black and teal accents. Hummingbird Restaurant offers delicious food and good service in a clean environment. We LOVE their Sunday creamy chicken and rice soup served with garlic toast. They offer free refills on the bowls of soup. See in the pic my hubby has it with his breakfast. He can’t resist it. I felt like a good pub burger and wondered if they would be good here- everything else we’ve tried has been yummy. Wow! Delicious 1/2 lb burger with fries and it came with a bowl of soup! Service is good. Some remodeling has happened during their off time and servers seat tables apart and wear masks, so you know if you wonder about that sort of thing this year. REVISE I came again to this restaurant a long while after my first visit, and I have to say, it’s just as good as I came the first time! We came here to have breakfast for my father and while it was last minute, I genuinely enjoyed my time there. The workers were just as fast and friendly as I remembered and they changed the menu for the better and really made this restaurant something of their own. I’m seeing more life come inside the restaurant and they deserve it! I did notice that some workers seemed a bit confused and had to call on another staff member on how to do/ask something, but it wasn’t an issue and it’s only human and did not impact anyone’s experience.
