Playoffs II — Restaurant in Winfield

I have to rate one star to even post. The bar is called Playoffs, so i went to go catch the St Louis Blues Playoff game and the drunk owner kept pumping dollars in the jukebox. Made it very apparent when she put Bobby Brown's "My Perogative" that the bar is her personal playground and not about the customers. No drink, shot, or food specials, no excitement about the game, hell only 2 TV's of the 8 or so had the game on and the biggest one is on the fritz and has a burnt out spot in the middle of the viewing screen. When she was there it was very apparent who owned the bar with all her "look at me" drunken theatrics which made me feel completely undeserved as a customer much less feeling comfortable enough to ask if they could turn the sound on for the game, as myself, other patrons, and staff were discussing. I honestly felt if I would have asked it would have been a confrontation because of the owners attitude. Actions speak louder than words and when she vanished, sound was on, jukebox paused, etc. Must be nice to have a monopoly, not too many neighbor bars close by to choose from. Sad thing is I've frequented and blown at least a few thousand there over the years because of the convenience being close by and trying to avoid the strict law enforcement of Winfield and Lincoln County. Other than that, I would never step foot in that place. That place is a freaking goldmine and is completely misled and managed. It's pretty sad when the 2 two staff members I was in contact with would look at the owner and roll their eyes when I asked about turning the sound on for the game. Completely got the "we are all in it together" vibe until she left. Absolutely ridiculous, but will continue to deal with it because there is no where else...

They have 5 pool tables at $0.75 per game and they have a quarter machine. Would not recommend to go on a Sunday as i was there just a few weeks ago to have a drink and play a few games of pool, I was there for about 30 minutes then the owner had told the bartender to close up early and that is a frequent thing so if you plan on going up there on a Sunday evening don't expect to stay anywhere near closing expect to be told last call is 1 even 2 hours before the posted closing time. They do however have great staff and a friendly atmosphere (This is a indoor smoking bar so if cigarettes offend you this is not a place that you would favor.) Love the bartenders here. I can't go in anymore. I went into the new location and my eyes instantly started burning from all of the cigarette smoke into he building. I was hoping with the patio it wouldn't be as bad as the old location, but I think iys worse. I was told by an employee that if youre a non smoker and dont like the smoke, you can go sit outside on the patio. I spent a lot of evenings in the old building, but I don't think I can go back to the new...
