OMGOSH they have the BEST salsa dip for chips (it's warm)!!! They do not give it out freely though, u must ask for it or else u get none if ur ordering takeout. Not sure about dine-in. We always do takeout so we can go home eat and watch movies. Do NOT order enchiladas, unless u like dried up enchiladas!!! Everything else is exceptionally delicious!!!! If they would learn how to make enchiladas (which is very popular in Texas) I would rate 5 stars becuz my fav mexican food is enchiladas!!!! If i cant get some good enchiladas at a mexican restaurant it makes me not ever want to go there becuz regardless if i order fajitas or shrimp diablo or quesadillas eventually i will want enchiladas. Maybe one day they will put forth some effort in finding a darn good enchilada recipe to serve and put on there menu calling them the ALL NEW Enchiladas that way people will at least try them to get them well known there otherwise people will think its still the same ones which would mean nobody would order them! So to this restaurant: PLEASE find some enchiladas recipes to serve to customers becuz the ones yall serve is just a few tortillas wih some cheese rolled up inside of it and then yall put like 2 teaspoons of cheese or salsa on top so it becomes dried up...

I've been a customer of Daysis for years and I can say that every dish here has retained its excellence. From when it used to be a little taco /shrimp stand to a shack to the spacious building they now have, Daysis wonderful service and delicious tasting food never lets down. The tacos are excellent, but if you're in the mood for something more filling, try a burrito Supreme or a torta. Both the shrimp cocktail and boiled shrimp are amazing, I personally recommend the unpeeled as it retains more juice. The best soup they serve is the seafood soup, it has octopus, imitation crab, tilapia, potato, corn cob and shrimp (10/10) with choice of tortillasor bread These are only a few of the dishes they serve, but each one is absolutely delicious. The place is clean and service is good but portions are small 5”11 and I’m about 240 so yeah portions are small also I ordered the tacos and it was like pulling teeth I have to 3 of the same when it comes to breakfast tacos and can’t order nothing but breakfast so that’s 3X1.75.
