Came here on our way from Sioux Fall back to Rapid City. Saw it on Facebook from a friend who had been here and being a lover of fried chicken decided to take the back roads to try it. Glad we did!! Everything was great!! The chicken was hot, crispy, and succulent – and I had white meat, so that is saying a lot! The coleslaw was slightly sweet, the way my mom used to make it :) and their fries!! Oh not to mention the caramel pecan chocolate cheesecake!! The food is homemade, the service is exceptional, and the owner, Mr. Duane, is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet- Winner Chicken Dinner is worth the trip!! Read moreFriendly staff. Fast service. Small town atmosphere. Looked to be seating for maybe 14 inside with several picnic benches outside. Chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside like most people prefer. We had 2 sides of coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Mac and cheese sauce was probably out of a jug but it was tasty enough. Coleslaw was good. Chicken needed some spices. Not looking for hot. Just a little more flavor. Pricing was fair. I would eat here again if i was in town but we drove an hour from Nebraska to try it out. Probably wouldn't make the trip just for...
