I am very displeased with Marco's Pizza on 4908 Reynolda Rd Winston Salem North Carolina. I was told and have a screenshot fr the person who took my order. That my order was post be 18.13 with the coupon and then when the pizza delivery guy came. He told me it was 21.07. I do not mine pay this amount, but I was told and I have a recipient and screenshot that it was post be 18.13. When I told the delivery guy this. They said that the first order didn't have the delivery charge which is fine. But want I have a problem with and is that my order was taking at 5:51 pm eastern stand time. And when I got a email said it will arrive aprxmontly at 6:23 pm my time. Which is fine. What is not fine and that is it came to me at 7:00 pm and not only that when he dropped it off I gotten a email from Marco's Pizza at 7:06 pm my time and when I tried to follow the instructions on how about going to give Marco's Pizza a survey review. I was giving a fake survey review number with 1 extra number to the survey. So I couldn't give Marcos pizza my review. I am very disappointed with how I was missed lead and not only that. I was giving a fake number. I will think twist before order there again. According to the person, who answered the phone. The the woman who took my order. She wrote my address and phone number down wrong and when I gave the delivery guy 25.00 and was waiting for my change I looked at my recipient and he tried to drive off with my change. Keep in mine he told me 21.07. I had to run him down to get my change, because he started to drive off with 4.00 dollars that was mine. I told him, from the start when he give me a different price that. The reason I couldn't give him tip, because I had lost my job due to the coronavirus. Then he tried to drive off with my 4.00 of change. In which i would of known it would of been 21.07. I wouldn't order/ or I would made sure I was able to give him 5.00 tip. This is how I was treated by delivery guy trying to take advantage of the change of price and take 4.00 extra from me and put it his pocket. I am...
Read moreI am typically quite empathetic to any business within the service industry. It's quite common to have "off nights" whether it be due to short staff, unexpected surge in business, etc. Additionally, I've worked as a pizza delivery driver myself (albeit many years ago).
I've ordered from this Marco's location for the last three years (since moving to my current neighborhood). I've always been impressed with the timeliness and quality of the food ordered. This appears to have changed within the last few months.
In a previous order (a few months ago), the delivery time was quite long and the food temperature arrived luke warm to cold, and the pizza very inadequately cut. Initially I had simply chalked it up to an off-night as mentioned above.
Then I ordered another time and, although the food came more quickly and was relatively warm, the pizza was not adequately cut (this is just a mere inconvenience more than anything considering I just cut it with my cutter).
After the above order, I decided to order from a competing restaurant the next time I decided to order a pizza for dinner (even though I typically enjoy Marco's flavor and quality more).
Being one to give more chances, I ordered again from this location and like above, experienced a long delivery time, luke warm food, and inadequately cut pizza.
Finally, last night has unfortunately convinced me to go with the competing restaurant from now on. A 90+ minute delivery time, pizza was cold (clearly had been sitting around for some time, and definitely not under a warmer), and again, the pizza was not adequately cut.
At this point, I see no justification in spending more money on a place which no longer sufficiently performs the services...
Read moreWe have ordered from Marcos for as long as I can remember. Never once had an issue. In the past 2 months maybe, that’s all change. Our past 3 orders were less than desirable. Didn’t review the first 2 as I thought maybe just having an off night. Then tonight’s order is bad once again. Not sure what’s going on but in the past 30 days they have gone from hero to zero. This was third strike for me. Too many other options than to continue to pay for less than adequate food. On top of all that, they have a huge sign on the door explaining the importance of masks and mask requirements. Not a single employee that I saw had a mask on. So your food is being prepared and touched by employees with no mask. I would assume if the mask is not important then hands being washed and place being disinfected properly is probably no more important. Tonight was my 3rd strike for Marcos on Reynolda Rd. I would also stress you should have concern to their lack of Covid policies for their own employees, much less your food. I am editing my review because after reading other reviews I see that my complaint is not the first made over Marcos employees not wearing masks. If they are still not wearing masks tonight after previous complaints then I would say they have a...
