High Seas Lounge — Restaurant in Winter Haven

Friday service was horrible. It's a small place and had most of the empty tables reserved when we got there. Waitress took our order and got our drinks but she never came back till the check. Another lady served our food almost an hour after we ordered. By that time the reserved party was there ordering. We had to go to the bar to get a second round of drinks. The food was ok, nothing great. Only issue was my onion rings were so thick the batter wasn't cooked the entire way through half of them. After our meal she came back to give us our check but she had to ask us what we ordered because she couldn't remember. An hour after we were given the check we walked up to the bar to pay ourselves. I don't understand why they had reserved guests but only 1 or 2 waitresses on duty for a Friday evening but I seen our waitress standing around a lot. Dude behind the bar said a quick sorry when I mentioned waiting an hour to pay my check. But that's it. Never going...

I work nearby and pass by this place a lot, never knew it so good. As it was my first time there I got a Bacon Cheeseburger and Onion Rings. The burger was well made, the toppings were very fresh and the bacon was crispy, all in all a great burger. (I forgot to ask for mayo so it was a little dry, but that was my fault.)
