Ray's Pizza — Restaurant in Wintersville

Horrible and FILTHY!! There are four incidents of how filthy this place is!! When I ordered, the man on the phone said that they were out of lettuce and that they couldn't find any head lettuce at the store. Why couldn't you just get bagged lettuce?? When we arrived, I was HORRIFIED by what I saw. A worker had just came in from making a delivery and DID NOT WASH IN HANDS AND STARTED HANDLING PIZZA WITH HIS BARE UNWASHED HANDS!! Gross! This was the most recent of the incidents. The second incident was when I went in late and asked if they had anything. He said yes and stopped sweeping the floor and put down the broom. Again, DOESN'T wash his hands!! He starts putting his unwashed bare hands in the cheese and made pizza! The first incident was when my aunt and grandma got a pizza there. The door was WIDE open and when they got home and opened the box, A BUNCH OF BUGS OF DIFFERENT KINDS FLEW OUT OF THE PIZZA!! The fourth incident was when I witnessed an older man making the pizza while holding a cane!! LESSONED LEARNED!! THEY ARE FILTHY AND CARELESS ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!! THEY ARE NEVER NICE AND ALWAYS LEAVE THE...

It's alright, way better than any of the local DiCarlo's but nowhere near as good as Giannamore's. Their pizza would be much better if they didn't always burn the crust. I prefer crispy crust but theirs is just way too hard and overcooked. We always get a tray and I specifically asked them not to overcook the crust explaining that the last time it was so hard it was almost inedible. What happens? It was just as hard. If I'm paying $30 for a tray of pizza cook it the way I tell you to, simple! What saves them is their breadsticks with cheese and the fact they're open on Sundays when Giannamore's isn't.

Don't waste your time!! You call in a order and it is NEVER ready when you get there. People will come in and place an order and get theirs before you. Half the time it is just down right nasty. Guess it depends on who is cooking it. Last time there was so much grease it soaked up through the cheese and made it all odd colored. The last straw was I waited longer then they said to go pick it up and it was still not ready. I watched this tall goofy looking dude "Chris?" get make some slices then take it to the table to the left of the ovens and stand there and eat it himself!!!!! Really I am waiting forever while you eat pizza.
