I scheduled 2 girls (my daughter and her friend) to get makeup done for their dance. They were scheduled for noon. When the salon called to confirm a couple days before the appt. The woman on phone confirmed my daughter for 12:45 not the original noon. Weird but we could work with it. I asked if they could also confirm the friend I had scheduled and the response was “oh yeah I can do that.. have a nice day” and hung up. Also weird. I assumed that was the confirmation. Fast forward to the appointment and we show up at 12:30, they told her that she was supposed to be at noon. I explained it was moved and they didn't do anything but wait until someone had a free window. We then were told from another client who happens to be friends with my girls, that the stylists were talking about it and didn’t even call my girl to see where she was. They didn’t call me either asking where she was. Who doesn’t call to see where a PREPAID client is??? Super unprofessional.
Now onto the makeup they did for my daughter. It was AWFUL. See pictures attached. The blending was non-existent, the foundation was not a good match for her pale skin, there were patches where there was NO foundation. When I saw I asked her stylist to fix it. She replied “yeah, let’s go stand by a window where there’s natural light”. Um what? She did her makeup in a dark corner with orange lighting. Who does that? There should have been either natural lighting or bright lighting THE WHOLE TIME not when you’re asked to fix it. The blending or lack there of made my kid look like she was wearing a flesh-toned turtleneck. Also the eyeshadow was nowhere near what my daughter asked for. It was too dark and not at all like the reference picture that was shown. My daughter had to redo her makeup entirely at home! This was an absolute waste of money AND added so much stress to the already stressful day. Also side note, not only was it a waste of money..it was a waste of my daughter’s money she had saved up so she could get her makeup done professionally. This was NOT ok and far from professional. Read moreMost terrible lash experience. If you’re looking to get lash extensions I would suggest looking elsewhere. I had recently scheduled a lash appointment to get a classic set. Had to put down an $80 deposit which was fine. Day of my appointment there was no consultation done. She didn’t wash my lashes before she started lashing. If you know what a classic set is one individual lash placed on one of your natural lash. Welp in this case she had dipped the lash in so much glue to place it, it started to stick to multiple of my natural lashes causing them to bunch. Then she would roughly brush my lashes to pull them apart from using so much glue. It was very painful. As you can see the lash that was placed near my inner corner was just as long as all the other lashes weighting it down.This girl had no sense of lash health. All my lashes were the same length weighing my inner corner lashes down. As you can see in the photos my lashes are now starting to fall out in the nice clusters she put them in. My issue is with the salon itself that is moving to a new location. I just had an appointment earlier this week and my stylist informs me that the OWNER has decided they don't want to carry elumen color when they move. Well here's the thing there are LOYAL CUSTOMERS who use this line. There is NO other color they carry that will do what this product does. So to keep going to my stylist I would have to completely change my hair! I DONT WANT TO CHANGE MY HAIR! This is a very poor business decision in my opinion. They will be loosing a client if this is the case and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I'm thankful that my stylist is 100% transparent and will tell the truth that no other line they have will be able to maintain my color.
