We ordered online to pick up, and I was told that this place was pretty good! I tried some leftovers from my sister, and they tasted good. I have been looking for my regular take-out place, and wanted to try a few different items. I have been on the hunt for a place that makes its dumplings in-house. They gave an estimate as to when the order would be ready, and I got there 10 minutes after the recommended time because of where I live and traffic. I ordered a combination plate with the boneless spare ribs and upgraded my side to pork lo mein, and the combination plates come with an egg roll as well. I also got the steamed dumplings and a large wonton soup. I will be honest, this was mildly a letdown because the dumplings were not homemade. The wonton soup was okay, but the broth could have used more flavor. They do add green onions and pork pieces to the broth, which is good. The boneless spare ribs tasted strongly of five-spice, which overpowered a lot of the meal for me in a negative way. They were also a little dry. The pork lo mein was delicious. I wish I had gotten that as my meal. The egg roll was great, and I really appreciated the flavor in it. Despite not loving the boneless spare ribs and the dumplings, I still enjoyed my meal and would come back here again. I would just order something different, such as the chicken and broccoli or the lo mein. The prices were incredibly reasonable for the portions...
Read moreIt's been a year and I decided to place an order of vegetable fried rice with a side of chicken added. Whew!! I blew it again. Veggies considered of broccoli, onions, a tad of bok choy, and probably a 2"X2" sliver of chicken, leaving me essentially with a box full of dried rice and onions. ( :(-). Fool me once Shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me
I ordered chicken fried rice. It was horrible. I spent $14 for a large rice and onions. I had to dig for the chicken pieces, which was few and unappetizing. I had not eaten all day and I sat down at 9:45 expecting vegetables in my rice and all I got were nasty onions. Needless to say, I tossed it in the trash. The meal smelled horrible.
Will not be coming back. I remember over a year ago I had ordered a pint of something and it wasn't even a pint size and I said I wouldn't come back but decided to last night because I was hungry. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK. I WILL DRIVE FURTHER FOR FOOD THE NEXT TIME I'M HUNGRY. ...
