529 Social — Restaurant in Wisner

Disappointing. I ordered a cheeseburger and asked for an extra patty. I stepped outside for a moment, and when I got back inside the bartender informed me that the burger patty was a pound and if I still wanted two.

Having regularly bought one pound rolls of ground beef in the grocery store, I thought I was in for a feast and told her that one would be plenty.

When the food came out, it was instantly clear that the bartender was given incorrect information. Nowhere near a pound, maybe a 1/3rd at best. Also way overcooked with no juiciness.

To be fair, the service was very friendly and attentive, the veggies on the burger were super fresh and the curly fries were cooked perfectly.

But that patty man, NOT a pound and way...

I like this restaurant. It is nice and clean, they really good for a small town. We order stack and it test pretty good but my daughter chicken basket is not really impressive. The price are affordable and not really busy on Wednesday night. I couldn't give them 5 star because the waitress not really nice. I ask her about fat Tuesday, she only said I don't know about that!! 🤔🤔It would be nice if she say "Let me find out for you" Or try to ask another...

This was our first time at 529 Social. It was Great. They have a very nice menu, with specials running only on Friday and Saturday. They do Serv prime rib during this time. We had the Lasagna,.
