Was needing breakfast for morning fuel. I always appreciate a real, not corporate, establishment that is the grass roots of this great country. Did it for decades while traveling for work. I am so grateful for goggle maps. It is how I found this establishment. If the locals eat here, it HAS to be good and it was. Two women run this place and they truly hustle. Slightly located from the interstate but soooo worth the stop. Nothing fancy in appearance but very clean and a great feeling of warmth. U can't get anymore Americana than this. Cooked as you requested. My partner wanted her hash browns alittle more crisper and she gladly did just that. No body got angry, nobody threw food. I didn't snap a pic cause I didn't want them to think we were big city folks, which we are not. Good ol'fashioned charm. Remodeled from an old theatre in downtown Wolcott, this cozy little diner offers good "country style" food at a fair price. The decor hearkens back to what you would expect to be in a farmhouse in the 50's. The breakfasts are where it's at!! It seems when a reataurant focuses on a few things and do them well, as opposed to stretching yourself too thin, that food just tastes better, and you can tell that care has been put into the recipe and preperarion, not just thrown on a plate. I don't know how this place could a 4.3 rating but it doesn't deserve it. The person that owns the restaurant doesn't even know how to cook an over medium egg they're always over easy or over hard. I heard one customer say that she has to put gravy on everything to give it any taste. And then she sits in the corner and talks about everybody. Good atmosphere LOL. This place has something to be desired. Plus she dumps on her employees after a while and uses them up. Think twice before you go here.
