Leandro's Pizza + Kitchen — Restaurant in Woodbridge Township

I absolutely have to say something! My family and I have been dining at Leandro’s since they opened. The entire family and staff has always been very welcoming. The pizza has gone from good to great! I don’t know what they’ve done but it’s been such an improvement from when they started and they were already good to begin with. Usually when I go I always get Bella. Bella is always so cheerful, very sweet and truly holds to her name, simply Bella. Alex, the pizza guy always greets me as I walk in and makes sure to make my pizza just how I love! I don’t even need to tell him anymore. He just knows! Well, today, 1-18-24, my son and I are home w covid. I feel sick. I’m achy, hot/cold, sweaty and all the annoying things that come w covid but I still have my appetite. I decided to call Leandro’s and order a pizza for my son and I since I have no inclination to cook. I ordered a large pepperoni pie w an order garlic knots but to my surprise when I opened the bag I had a sweet little treat. It may look small but the thoughts and the words were extremely heartfelt🥲♥️ It really touched my heart. As I read it out loud I teared up. Thank you Bella for being such a beautiful, young woman. I know your parents must be very proud of you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your message made me feel so good inside🥲🥲🥲 I think that was the medicine I needed. Today I had a buffalo slice and a cheese steak with peppers and onions as shown in the picture below... The food is always hot, fresh, and tasty... The service is great whether you call or dine-in... They are friendly, attentive and quick to take care of the customer's needs... The restaurant is not big, but they have two restrooms available which is great... The dining area is nice and clean with plenty of natural sunlight creating a cozy, welcoming environment... As for their cold subs, it's made with nothing but the best (Boar's head products) which makes them better compared to their competitors... My only suggestion is to have the option of fresh Italian bread (for the hot or cold subs) as well as fresh mozzarella (for the cold subs), it will take it up a notch or two other than that I have no complaints... I hope you continue to provide great service and good food for...

I'm guessing the guy that took this over has no experience whatsoever in the restaurant business. This place went from Carmen's pizzeria which wasn't all that good, to what he reopened as actually worst food than Carmen's had. It's the same exact menu, he did nothing different and knows nothing about how to cook sandwiches or anything including pizza. I don't say this to be nasty or mean, though I ordered food a couple times and it's literally just whatever you ask for and bread no seasoning nothing, it's like a beginner cook trying to make you a sandwich and then charging you $14 for a $7 sandwich. You would think he would try something different, or at least be a decent cook if you're going to reopen the same exact restaurant type that just closed...
