Dora's Restaurant — Restaurant in Woodlake

First timer here at this spot. We came riding through around noon looking for something new to try. The food here is on point. Straight traditional Mexican food. My wife had a burrito, I had a bowl of menudo, our friends had tacos (shrimp and asada) and beef enchiladas with rice and beans. First off, I love walking into an establishment like this and seeing them in the kitchen pressing fresh tortilla's and the smell of them being grilled on a open flame. The food was top notch along with salsa and chips. Our server was friendly and attentive. With 8 people, all our food was delivered in order and hot. She did forget about my drink but she was very apologetic. I did have a water to hold me over, not a big deal. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a authentic Mexican food restaurant on your way up to the hills. The place is clean and quite. They have inside seating and a nice covered patio. We opted for the patio which is alittle bigger then the inside. My only disappointment was they don't serve margaritas. decided to try out a new place for the first time and we were not happy with our experience. when we walked in it reeked a very sour smell which gave me a huge headache. also, the table we sat at wasn’t even cleaned. there was little to no people dining yet we waited about 30 minutes to be attended. the waitress had a very nasty attitude with us from the very beginning. might i add when we had asked for recommendations (because it was our first time there) she simply said “i don’t know, you’re the ones eating it”. i decided to ignore it and just order. we then proceeded to wait a good HOUR to receive our food though we didn’t order much! it was just me and my boyfriend. the food was not worth the high prices they charge. if i could give 0 stars i would. i do not recommend this place and they are in desperate need of...

Does restaurant may be everything to eat there is their burritos the best burrito ever I've ever had. She has so much different varieties of Mexican food and a home warm feel Dora's restaurant gives you the feel of your grandmother's Mexican tortillas or her menudo she would make when you get up early in the morning from the party you had the night before she has great menudo awesome posole and her her food with the rice beans and your choice of whatever your entry is going to be is a dynamite bite it makes me feel like I was when I was a child when my mom or my grandma would make me something to eat in the morning for breakfast or lunch or dinner she definitely will bring back memories for you if you're in Mexicana.
