Such a shame......... From 5 stars ten months ago to this. Yes, they expanded the size of the location, so that should help eliminate waiting for a table, but apparently they did nothing to expand their ability to serve all of the newly seated diners. We arrive to enjoy their Friday night fish fry. We were told it would be a thirty minute wait for a table, but the food comes out really fast. Two minutes late, we were asked if we would like a high top table in the bar which we accepted. Ten minutes later, we were asked about beverages and shortly after ordered our food. An hour later, we received our order with nothing more than a 'thanks for being patient'. The fish was good, but had bones and came with very few chips ( yes, the picture is before I ate one bite). If you know your kitchen is backed up, and we weren't the only ones waiting forever for our orders, at the very least, offer a free appetizer, beer, discount, or something! The manager should have been involved as well in making sure people were happy. The feeling I got was, 'we're busy so this is what you get and we really don't care because we know you'll be back in spite of how bad we treated you and if not, they'll always be a line at the door'. Business's that take their customers for granted are doomed to fail. They have a great location, great atmosphere, great food and potential. They even started serving breakfast. I want nothing more to see them succeed, but they are going to have to do a better job of making their customers feel appreciated and when they can't deliver, they should be bending over backwards to do whatever it takes to salvage the customer's experience.

Fantastic customer service! You have to look at the bathroom faucet, it washes and dries your hands!

We have been to Divide several times over the past few year and have noticed McGinty's but never went in because we travel with our dog and dogs are not invited not even on their patio. This year we felt the the dog could handle being on his own so we checked out the menu here on Google maps and behold, Ruben sandwiches, my favorite, however someone did a review of thier Ruben but it looked like a burned grilled cheese sandwich. Based on that review I would never order it but when we walked in I saw one on another customers table and decided to give it a try. I was not diaspointed, piled high and very tasty. French fries, nice and crispy and good beer. Mandy our server was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was rather loud but not from music just the room acoustics and everyone talking over everyone else, but we could hear each other. My wife had the Atlas Plate with pita and hummus that she really enjoyed with enough garlic to last me all night. Four stars for food, service, and atmosphere is not a negative because this is a burger and pizza place, not a 5 star restaurant. I strongly recommend McGinty's for a nice casual night out. I wanted to try thier Fish and chips on a different night, but nope, only on Friday and Saturday.

Honestly, decent food and nice staff if this establishment was run by someone else it would have turned out differently.

We came to their restaurant and drove an extra 20minutes in an effort to support local business. My wife had heard that these folks were having some issues with traffic so we figured we spend our money with someone local.

Started out with the lady at the door letting us know there was a wait. Obviously she was having a bad day and had a sour look on her face, but whatever, no problem.

Problem occurred when me and my kids waited an hour and a half for food to show up while tables around us received their food in a reasonable amount of time. Okay, maybe there was a problem, these things happen no big deal. Complained to the waiter who apologized profusely and did his best to help out.

When food arrived it was cold and the order was wrong. Addressed it with the waiter again who apologized but the issue wasn’t corrected, we were too hungry and just wanted to eat. So far, in my mind this maybe losses one star. Here’s the kicker:

The waiter had offered to take something off the bill in order to make up for the wait and order issue, great! I assumed this meant that the errors would be corrected and maybe one dish would be comped. He returned to tell us that his manager wasn’t going to do anything and he was bringing us a full bill……hmm, okay. I asked to speak with the manager.

Turns out the manager is the owner and the same lady who talked to us at the door. The attitude on this woman was astounding. She did nothing but gave excuses and fought, in front of staff and a full restaurant (increasing in her volume and attitude) and refused to change the bill at all (including the missing items). After arguing with her for what seemed like forever and throughly embarrassed, she offered to correct the bill to remove the missing items. After all this I felt there should have been some kind of reduction in the bill, she offered to take a charge of bacon off of one order…….. we paid and left instead of embarrassing ourselves, the staffs and the other customers more.

If you decide to eat here be aware you are playing Karen roulette. You have no idea if the owner will over charge and berate you in front of the whole restaurant or if you’ll have an average dining experience. I strongly recommend...

Brought a friend in who was visiting from another country. When we entered the restaurant the hostess completely ignored us and we stood around for 5 minutes waiting for someone to notice us. Finally the bartender came over and asked if we'd been helped. Once we were seated no one came to bring us water or ask if we would like something to drink for around 10 minutes. My friend went up to the bar to see what kind of wines they had (as brands weren't listed on the menu). The girl behind the bar at the time said they had white and red. My friend asked what brands of red they had and the girl didn't know so my friend asked to see the bottles. She received a pissy response from the bartender who reluctantly handed over a bottle. Someone finally came to take a drink order and couldn't answer questions about the beer that was featured on the Specials menu. 10 minutes later our food order hadn't been taken nor had our drinks been delivered. We stopped a waitress who was walking by and asked if we could give her our food order. She gave us the most condescending tone and response possible, saying she would find our waitress (like we were morons.) The restaurant was busy, but they had tonnes of staff. None of them made eye contact or came to make sure we were looked after. We finally had our order taken and were so very hungry when it arrived. We ordered a pizza and some wings. The wings were cold on the inside. After we were done trying and not finishing the wings we let our waitress know that the wings were cold and that they might want to let the kitchen know. We didn't receive an apology for the amount of time we waited or for the fact that our chicken wasn't cooked properly.

The staff in this restaurant need serious training about customer service, friendliness, attentiveness, how to cook chicken and the drinks menu. All very basic stuff that needs work.

Won't be back. Will tell people not to come here. Too many things went wrong for this just to have been a bad day for...
