Grassano's Pizza — Restaurant in Worth Township

I've always got the BBQ chicken pizza and puff for years since back when they were where the jerky place is now on 87th. It was so good and made them stand out since other places don't make it the same. Sadly the puff I got today was disgusting. I've only been getting cheese lately and some time during the past few months they changed the chicken they use. It seems they now use something similar to the frozen thin precut already cooked fajita strips they sell in the frozen aisle at the grocery store. It does not taste good in the puff at all and even had what I would describe as a freezer burn taste. If this is what they are choosing to sell my suggestion is to just take it off the menu it was that bad. I tried but after a few bites in I had to toss it. I've been loyal for years but I think it's time to find a new place. I keep going back thinking maybe I just got a bad order but I order even less frequently now and I almost always regret not going somewhere else. I dont know why I keep coming back when the quality is so terrible. I've been coming to grassanos since 2009 and they used to be great. Then about 5 years ago I stopped because it started becoming terrible. It was one thing after another. I then only ordered from them like once or twice a year hoping that theyve gotten better..... But nope. The food is always cold, not what I ordered and quality and taste are just terrible. It's a shame they once used to be so good and I'm so disappointed. I don't know why I keep coming back. I ordered a large pizza tonite and a order of fried zucchini. What I got was an order of fried mushrooms and my pizza was so terrible. It was watery, cheese slid right off, whole entire bottom of crust was wet and soggy. It was disgusting. I had no veggies on it to make it watery either. I have used Grassano's for birthday parties for the past 3 years and was pleased with their prices and service. I have also ordered for family dinners with mostly good service. Then last night happened... I ordered a jumbo sausage pizza, large pepperoni and large fry. I was told the food would be here in an hour and a half by 7:30. It was a few minutes late and the jumbo sausage pizza was cold, half slid into itself from the car ride here. I had paid 31 something and tipped the driver the change from $40. I called to let Grassano's know and they told me they would credit my phone # but we're coming back to take my pizza. Now I had 3 kids and 3 adults who had waited an hour and a half for pizza and expected not to feed them or wait another hour and a half for them to replace it. What happened to customer service?
