I have been to this establishment twice, and both times the experience was absolutely appalling. The waitress (who appears to be the only one working) is shockingly rude and unprofessional. Having worked as a breakfast waitress for 10 years, I know what good service looks like, and this was the complete opposite. The first visit she was abrupt but I chalked it up to a bad day- everyone has them. But today was even worse.

The food is passable at best, but even if it were the best meal I’d ever had, I would never return. The waitress did not smile once, showed no personality or warmth, and made absolutely no effort to provide even basic customer service. When she came to take our order, her only words were, “What do you want?” She then left without any acknowledgment.

To make matters worse, when we asked for a box to take home some fruit, she walked away with the check without a word. The complete lack of professionalism and courtesy was astounding. It’s clear this place does not value its customers, and I would strongly advise others to avoid it...

My daughter and I stopped here on a whim this morning on our way to the Wrentham outlets. We walked in and immediately knew we would love it.

I noticed the waitress hustling, and asked her if she was the only one waiting tables. She confirmed… And then I watched as she whizzed through the place, taking orders, filling coffees, grabbing food, cleaning tables, grabbing checks,… And she never missed a beat!

I couldn’t stop watching her… My 11-year-old commented as well. She had everything under control and if I hadn’t noticed right when I walked in, I would have never realized that she was the only waitress because the service was impeccable.

I seriously have never seen a waitress handle a restaurant like that. I asked her name when we were leaving, and she told me it was Marie.

Marie… You are going places! Don’t let any bad reviews bring you down… You are pretty amazing from the half hour I spent in this restaurant… I will definitely be recommending this...

Extremely disappointed in this place. I ordered an omelet, and French toast for my colleague and I. Nothing about the order went correctly.

I stated there was no maple syrup for the French toast and the woman said “did you put it on the order to include maple syrup?” I then said “we’ll, I don’t want to sound rude but doesn’t maple syrup always accompany French toast”

The woman went on to say “whoever packaged your order must have forgot”

I then expressed that I paid for salsa, & specific ingredients for my omelet that were not included in the package, & the woman said absolutely nothing.

All in all- I called the restaurant to express my concerns, the woman literally said “I don’t know what to say to help you”

I honestly never take the time to fill out surveys but this experience rubbed me the wrong way and I needed to share it.

Learn better customer service skills.

We happened to be in the area and decided to stop in. It seems to be in a quiet part of the town not to far off of the highway. It’s not much to look at inside and out, it has the typical old diner feel to it. There isn’t much seating, but they do offer sidewalk seating for those nice weather days. The staff were attentive and we had no issues with them. The food was just ok, the omelette I had was really thin, and the toast was the size of my pinky finger. The hash that all the reviews I read said was “best in town”, wasn’t really that great to me. But that is my opinion. Again nothing wrong with the people or place, but the food was meh at best. I will say the grilled English muffin was the best thing I ate.

First time visit and we will NOT be returning. We stopped in (myself and two children) for lunch! All over the menu and posted outside the restaurant says they have “homemade Turkey” sliced thin! I got a turkey sandwich for the kids to share and the honey mustard turkey sandwich (both advertised for homemade Turkey!) my kids got their meal and would NOT touch the turkey. I then got my sandwich that had the same DISGUSTING wet, slimy turkey on it! The waitstaff was nice and super busy. I completely understand the short staff and it’s not their fault. However don’t advertise HOMEMADE turkey sandwiches, and really serve nasty cheap cold cuts! $23 for trash!
