Called in at 11 am to order a 14 inch pizza. I waited for over an hour and 20 minutes. I called them up & just told them i wanted to cancel because it was taking too long. She said okay & hung up. I called back to see if i could talk to the manager & evidently, it was her. The first time i called she said the delivery person had just left (this was when it was already over an hour and 20 minutes). When i called the second time i asked to talk with the manager to see what they could do for me. She said well we told you it would take longer than an hour because we are busy. But the person who answered when we ordered told us 45-hour at the latest. I asked her why she didnt courtesy call us back like other restaurants do & she said she was too busy. She said there was only her & the delivery person working today (which is not my fault). She then yelled at me about how none of this was her fault because they were short staffed & busy. I told her she didnt know how to run a business & she hung up on me. We used to get palermos all the time & loved their food, but after this experience i will never go back. They clearly don't know what good customer service is & they dont do anything to make up for their mistakes. I advise you to not go here if you're looking for something with good, even okay customer service, because you wont...
Read moreI wasted my time, standing inside of this place because there was a BIG sign that said, "Buy By The Slice." After standing at the counter for 5 minutes, (they were so busy in the back) finally someone comes out. All I got was, "Oh no, we only serve slices on Monday and Tuesday" or "Monday and Wednesday" or some such. TWO days only? It didn't say that anywhere on the dominating lobby sign. Why bother? That tiny parking place wasn't easy to get into either. It was a waste of time for me and I was in a hurry. Get it together and lose the sign or turn it around or something. The counter person didn't seem to care that I was inconvenienced. Everybody has an opinion on how they like their pizza so I'm sure this place will keep on humming. I won't be back. Even if I had ordered a small pie, there was no place to walk outside (I was lucky to squeeze into a parking spot), not much space inside (the "by the slice" sign took up a good portion of it). In Michigan, where delivery is king, people from the east coast would be stunned at how few authentic Italian pizza places offer slices. ONLY one that I know of in the area - Russo's - 6 days a week and they have great pizza, for sure (not too far from...
Read moreMy eleven-year-old daughter and I recently tried the new pinwheels and pasta salad from the 36th St location. I want to first state I am not a pepperoni fan but these little pinwheels were absolutely delicious. They were light fluffy and moist on the inside and lightly crispy on the outside. My eleven-year-old says they're bussin and kids will love them lol. We both enjoyed the pasta salad it had a lot of flavor without being greasy. It was definitely one of the freshest pasta mixes I've had from any place. Usually the vegetables most places are soft and these were very fresh and crisp. We definitely recommend both of these items and will have them again soon. I want to add only one warning, both my daughter and I grabbed a pinwheel straight out-of-the-box as soon as we got in the car. Without thinking we took a big bite at the same time and they are quite warm inside fresh out of the oven. 😬🤭🤣 Just don't be in a hurry give them a few minutes to cool down especially if you have little ones. We saved two and decided to test them out the next day and they were...
