We had a coupon so we decided to treat ourselves to pizza on a Friday night. Weâve never had papa johns before either. I placed the order online and later checked the status and it said it was already done and picked up. Weird. When we arrived and walked in, we did not receive your typical âhi weâll be right with youâ or âhi how can we help youâ. Not a single word. I have worked in the food/restaurant business for many years, I know customer service, how to give it and what people want to receive. Itâs the simple things. I thought thatâs fine theyâre busy, Iâll give it a couple minutes. But after awkwardly standing there for 5 min in front of the cash register, trying to make eye contact with any of the 8 workers, nothing. Finally got asked by a delivery driver if weâre picking up and they said itâs not ready yet. Okay thatâs fine, we can wait. The only guy that acknowledged us left to do deliveries and now thereâs no one working the front register and 5 people waiting. There was a girl ignoring all of us, making boxes. I asked is there anyone working the register? Providing any customer service? The girl was very nonchalant and did not seem to care at all and went to the back to grab another girl. Where has she been? Why are you sitting in the back when 5 customers are calmly waiting for their paid food? First and last time we will be going to papa johns. The food was okay, tasted like pizza, but the customer service just ruined everything. If someone wouldâve acknowledged us when we walked in and told us âhey sorry your order isnât ready yet but itâll be up in just a minuteâ then I wouldnât be as...
Read moreMan I hate to be that person. I hate it so much that even though the last time we ordered carry out and got boneless wings we sucked it up and left no complaint that they were bone in. Today even wasn't huge but it kinda was because it was a twice in a row paid for mistake. Boneless wings. This time though, no wings at all. So I call (something I've never done before) because the money is spent and there are only so many times you can be played (not that the last 2 times are the only times our order has been wrong but I'm a super introvert) and I'm proud of myself. I'm being an adult. I'm talking to a manger for the first time ever. The mangyer is kind but a bit out of touch. The first person I talked to told me our boneless wings were still on the counter (we ordered delivery and got our 2 pizzas). She passed off the phone saying she's getting the manager. All good. After several minutes of the manager doing hard core inquisitive work he determines our wings are there. His resolution was fresh made boneless wings delivered to us. We live less than half a mile away. 1.5 hours later, they're closed. No wings. No refund.
Go somewhere else. Papa Johns is great. This spot can be, but they're not consistent. Try somewhere else.
I've ordered from here soooo many times. So many second chances. So much lost money. It's...

Pro's
Cleanliness Food cooked to the correct temperature Friend staff Efficient kitchen (orders seem to be quick)
Conâs
Small Parking Lot Close to a red light/gas station, so traffic can be an issue Pizza toppings can be small in size, and little quantity was put on pizza Prices for our pick-up order of a 4 topping stuffed crust cost $27, plus tip
Just like all the pizza places, they can be pricey on the wallet. It was a large stuffed crust, so I know there are cheaper options. Just pointing this out. Always check for deals and at least, add the 25% off to the cart if you see it. Donât forget to use your Papa Dough rewards also!
If you go after 6pm then Iâm sure the storeâs location shouldnât be too much of an issue, but I went at 4:25pm and this location is located close to a gas station and stop light, so it can be tricky.
Without naming other places, I find the toppings here to be small, few and far between. Food is always cooked right for us.
Staff is always great, as is the delivery drivers, so thatâs always a good experience.
Papa Johnâs is usually my fifth choice when...
