Good value and a great burger with fries!
Burger - $13.99: The beef patty was juicy and delicious! Nothing much for special flavor, but just done right! It seemed less messy than normal and not dripping everywhere as far as the patty. I asked for it to be cooked medium and it was cooked slightly below that, but I like it a little lighter anyway.
The pretzel bun was the same price as the other choices, so that was a no brainer. It was dense and yet soft and chewy. The toppings were well balanced and yet caused the pieces to slide around a bit. I was able to keep it together, but I had a bit of a mess because of this.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend the burger. Probably one of my top bracket choices in the Grand Rapids area especially because it is a bit cheaper than many others like it. Great value!
Fries: The fries were amazing. Great texture with the slightly less tough exterior and fluffy interior. The batter added an amazing flavor, too! Another highly recommended aspect of my visit. The fries came with the burger.
My friend tagged along and had the following:
Cuban - $12.99: The dill pickle and mustard were a great mix and well balanced.
Tater Tots: A dryer and crispier variety, though not uncommon for many other restaurants. I prefer softer tots, but these were fine. They were served plenty warm! The tots came with the Cuban.
Caesar Salad - $3.99: Fairly good price for a salad and no complaints.
Service: It was slow going at first. Took a while to get the water and enter our order. But once the order was made, it came fairly quickly. Everything was as ordered and she handled everything right, just a tad on the slow side. Maybe they were a bit under staffed that night?
Atmosphere: It is a typical sports bar/restaurant feel. Lots of TVs with sports on (it’s in the name of the place). The is a bar with stools, but there would be little problem having kids there. There were some kids when we stopped by and they had booster seats and high chairs.
Conclusion: I would definitely have no problem recommending this place based on the food! The website’s menu was outdated and I am posting this with an updated menu. The burger was a dollar more expensive than I was expecting from the website menu. Still a great value, though! They have plenty of great lunch deals and happy hour prices.

Read moreI loved coming here. My friends and I had been coming here at least once every other week. The food is pretty good for being a sports bar and the atmosphere was nice. But after last night, I'll never be coming back here again, and neither will my peers. This guy, who I'm suspecting was the manager or owner, walks up to our table while my three friends and I were enjoying our meal and goes "Ok, who's been hitting it up in the bathroom? Got one, two, three joints in? C'mon, which one of you is blazing?" Like, really? First off, you were speaking to people who are openly against smoking of any kind, who went to the bathroom to quickly PEE maybe once the entire night. But of course, we happened to be the youngest people there at the time. When we told him no and we had no idea what he was talking about, he storms off and we hear him continue to gossip about throwing us out behind the bar to his buddies and staring us down the entire night. We were all extremely uncomfortable by this amount of unprofessionalism. It was uncalled for and completely unnecessary. We have all worked in customer service before, and that is not how you should handle a situation like that even if we had been the ones at fault. This guy does not deserve to be working there and treating valued customers like that. Thank you for showing your true...
Read more5 star food for a group of 8.
1 star rating for our waitress, who I think may have been a manager and/or owner. Her attitude was condescending when I told her I wasn't initially certain whether we were going to be a group of 8 or 10. She was only willing to seat us as a group of 8, and then adjust if more were coming. I was ok with that, but she had quite an aire about her, especially when she called me hon. She said the same to my wife. Later I requested a substitute of sausage and gravy in place of hash browns. She immediately and emphatically said she couldn't do that. Baloney. She could have done that, but was unwilling and I would have paid extra for the switch. I requested a side order of the S&G, and when my order arrived, the hash browns were missing. She assumed I didn't want them, and offered no apology for misunderstanding. We visit there a few times a year, but her attitude was a turnoff. Perhaps she was having outside difficulties that affected her attitude, but it wasn't appreciated or...
