I stopped in around 8:10am, to get something quick so I can get back on the road,and didnt get the correct order till almost 8:40am. I could tell the person who was taking my order wasn't mentally present the whole time he was taking my order by his demeanor and over exaggerated sigh. I asked for a 2 sausage croissants add american cheese,and a triple berry frosty. This is where things got weird! 🤦🏽♂️
I asked him,why are you giving me a cup? He said "because I put it in a meal" when I got back to the truck I decided to check the order,and low and behold I was missing a sandwich,and their was a partial box of cold fries at the bottom of the bag. The sandwich that was in there was made incorrectly,and had egg on it.
When I went back inside I was waiting in the line,and tried to get the attention of the young lady on the make line so she can get her manager...but as everyone else behind the counter, she ended up just looking confused and looking into space. So I informed the same guy who took my order that the entire order was wrong . Then he proceeds to attempt to raise his voice at me saying " well I asked you what you wanted and you said sausage egg and cheese!!!" Causing everyone in the lobby and behind the counter to see "what was going on" Which is false, because I'm allergic to egg,so that never would've been conveyed.
Then he mentioned "that was the miscommunication!" No , actually their was no miscommunication, you literally weren't paying attention. He then said the manager would come over and speak to me (which never happened).
While the sandwiches were just sitting on the the counter ,the entire staff (the "manager " , the "cook" and the "cashier") were repeatedly just walking past doing other things aimlessly,and trying to avoid dealing with me. I overheard the cashier literally lie to his manager about what I told him for my order.
The manager very well should have been non-existent, because he didn't apologize for the inconvenience of having to spend my 30 minute DOT break at this particular Wendy's, for 2 sandwiches , having to deal with his belligerent and unprofessional employee, trying to scold me for him getting my order wrong! 🤦🏽♂️
Every single person behind this counter needs training. Especially the "manager" who just made himself look busy,to avoid talking to the customer who was dealing with his excuse of an employee.
Also gave a formal complaint to corporate for the matter.
Do better!!!

The cashier proceeded to then laugh and say well it’s the jalepeno sauce. I then ask for a manger. The manager first said it was a nervous laugh. Then she said well she didn’t know how else to explain it. I’m sorry but if you are the cashier of a restaurant you probably should know how to explain the food. The manager made the situation worse by making excuses for the cashier. Never once did she apologize or say hey she didn’t mean nothing by it let’s get your order and get you out. This experience was so bad I’m writing this while still in store. All this could of been avoided by taking ownership of situation and then moving on. Instead they chose to make excuses for poor customer service and poor training...
Read moreWow this Wendy’s is the best ever! I LOVE their chicken nuggets, fries, and chocolate frostys! The chicken nuggets are perfectly crispy every time. They never disappoint with the delicious sweet and sour sauce either. The chocolate frosty is so scrumptious! This specific Wendy’s customer service is beyond excellent and the employees are always professional, kind, and efficient. These employees deserve a raise for how well they care for their customers. I have left my card accidentally before and they kept it locked in a safe place for me until I could get it a few days later. I Love this place. I 10/10 recommend trying it if you want a quick meal right off of I-25! Thank you Wendy’s crew!...
