Went to White Mountain Mining for brunch because we were told it was better than the dinner and we wanted to try it. It was our anniversary and we really wanted this to be good but unfortunately we will not be returning. I ordered the white mountain Benedict. A normal (cold) eggs Benedict is what came out. After I took a bite and realized it was ham, not prime rib, I asked the waitress about it and she said that she thought I ordered a normal eggs Benedict. She said that they could either make me what I ordered or I could get a 10% discount. I asked if they could just take the eggs Benedict off of the bill because I had not eaten it and it wasn’t what I ordered. At that point we had also been there for a very long time waiting for our meal so I didn’t want to wait for them to remake it. She told me they were only able to give me a 10% discount even though it was their mistake. All I had eaten was the side of potatoes because it was not what I ordered. If you do go, I would not order any of the eggs Benedict. The egg yolk was cooked all the way through and both of our meals meals were cold. It was also drenched with hollandaise sauce (way more than usual) . I would also make sure the server writes down or confirms your order again because it was a really disappointing experience and I wouldn’t want it to happen to...

This was hands down the worst eating experience I've ever had! First they brought bread which was caked in garlic salt, it was so salty. Then we got salad, which consisted of just lettuce, ZERO toppings. I don't know how that's a salad. Next I ordered prime rib. It tasted like it sat overnight in a crock pot of salt, the texture was strange and the meat was so salty and fatty it was nearly inedible. My husband go the tbone, which was slightly warmed up on a low heat. There was zero crust on the outside, asked for it to be cooked medium and it was extremely rare. Looked like it wasn't cooked at all but like they held a cigarette lighter underneath to warm it up, or maybe microwaved. It was definitely not grilled or cooked with proper heat. Our baked potatoes were undercooked as well. In the end we ordered cheese cake thinking how could they mess this one up. Oh were we wrong. It was totally freezer burned! And the strawberry topping was rotten! The strawberries were actually fizzy they were so old. I was there with a group of ten others. We paid a bill of nearly $400. For this kind of money you could at least get us real cups, not plastic ones. Please save yourselves and go to Applebee's down the road or even McDonald's is...

Im not sure where to begin, Ive never been here before and i was under the impression that this was going to be a fancier establishment, then im welcomed with the sight of gambling machines. Oh, well. I get sat down next to kitchen swing doors so that everytime wait staff opens them, it slams into my chair. It was almost comical to an extent.

I ordered an old fashioned, 15 minutes later i still do not have my drink. A waitress walks out and provides the table behind me with an old fashioned, the guy sips on it and he advised that it was really bad. I tell my waitress to disregard my drink and just to get me a beer. 5 minutes later i finally get it.

The spaghetti was mediocre at best with the price tag of almost $25.

I witnessed restaurant staff speaking with another patron over poor food. Just an overall bad experience. My waitress was very apologetic and seemed to genuinely care though. She did offer us drink tokens however we were in town on a business trip and wouldnt be able to redeem them.

Maybe try somewhere else, or give them time for new...

I recently dined at this restaurant and have mixed feelings about the experience. On a positive note, it was refreshing to find a restaurant that still serves escargot, a dish that has become increasingly rare at many establishments. However, I must mention that the prices at this place have significantly increased. My guest and I both felt that the prices were about 20% higher than they should be, which makes it less suitable for those on a tight budget. This aspect definitely warrants reconsideration. On a brighter side, the service we received was excellent. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, leaving us with no complaints in that department. However, the presentation of the dishes did not match the high prices. Although my guest and I opted for pasta to save on costs, the dishes were merely average and didn't justify the amount we paid. Overall, both my guest and I miss the old restaurant and its previous business model. Unfortunately, it falls short of our expectations and doesn't live up to its former glory.

Arguably the longest I’ve ever waited for bad food. Went with a group of 17 - arrived at 6:40 and dinner wasn’t served until 8:50. Two orders were not prepared - so my wife didn’t even eat. Prices were outrageous. The shrimp scampi was 6 21-30 shrimp. My blackened catfish (pictured below) was not so much blackened as absolutely carbonized. I will say that the server was very nice and it is a shame she was saddled with such a lousy kitchen. There was no communication of the delay until one of the group complained. We were - of course - the last to get served, even though there were many others who ordered after. I’ll also add that it is likely many of the reviews of this restaurant are from locals who come in ones or twos to have a drink at the bar and get something small. For the prices (check the menu) one would expect a first-class experience. As far as my colleagues and I are concerned, there’s a big red X on this place for the future.

Me and my husband went out for what we were hoping to be a nice date night with great food. We were very unimpressed. I ordered the ribeye, which came out alot smaller than the advertised portion and he had the surf & turf (prime rib and king crab). His prime rib was about the thickness of 2 slices of bologna and when he broke into the crab,it looked like half of the meat was missing. When we came in ,it smelled like burnt plastic, and when we were being seated, she tried to sit us next to the kitchen,so we asked to sit somewhere more quiet, instead set by a table full of oil field guys, who were drunk and extremely loud. We paid over $200 for this meal. Due to everythign,we just paid the bill and tip and boxed our food up and left. .....needless to say,we won't be back.
