When my gal pal said, "Let's do steak night" at a small town pub, I was very skeptical and had low expectations (I'm a steak snob), but was I ever wrong! The chef came out and personally asked how we wanted it cooked, and he did a perfect job on all our steaks from my rare (better be red in the middle) to the medium with just a hint of pink. The service was perfect and attentive; the bar tender was engaging and convinced me to try a new drink that I loved. The local clientele were friendly, and the place had a great vibe of music but not too loud, so we could all talk and laugh together. Fabulous night, and I'm looking forward to their next steak night!

One of the best places to stop if you're coming through yelm! Jessica, Kaitlyn, Janae Fiona and Kyle are all very attentive and patient with service! If you've had a bad day or just wanna celebrate this place is good for both! ❤️

Love the dive bar scene and this one seems to be where all the locals are at. I love the chalkboard walls in the bathroom. Everytime I go there I make sure to go to the bathroom to see the new messages on the board.

We are frequent visitors but our last two experiences were beyond horrible! The new bartender is the worst we have ever seen. 45 minutes after we arrived we finally got our first beer! There were only 9 people in the place including us!!! We ordered $1 tacos and she told us it would be a bit of a wait as she was really busy - really (again there were 9 people in the place). We then discovered why - we watched her make 3 to go orders of tacos (4 each) as we sat there waiting for another beer. She never even asked us if we would like another. Finally after another 45 minutes we had to ask for another beer - which took 15 minutes to pour. After 90 minutes and no tacos and another couple of to go taco orders we asked her why she was making to go orders (at $1 a piece) when she had paying customers waiting. Her response "I know I'm not supposed to make to go $1 tacos". We pointed out that the owner does not make money on to go $1 tacos and that it was just a draw to get people in. She stormed off to the bathroom crying and then proceeded to tell other customers in the bar how horrible we were! It is sad that this awesome little "hole in the wall" has been reduced to this. Save your money folks and buy a six-pack and head to Taco Bell. The tacos won't be as good but you won't have to...

Cozy laid back atmosphere with a great assortment of whiskeys; Irish, Bourbons, Scotch, straight and blends; low end, mid grade and specialty; plus all your normal liquor variety. 10+ taps, domestic, craft and import on draft and bottled, and a good selection of good old reliable Tall Cans. Servers seamed friendly enough and the prices were not bad at all. There is a double selection in the beer garden, covered area with gas fire pit tables for the cold weather and out in the open picnic tables for the good weather. Clean rest rooms, good amount of indoor seating, Touch Tune jukebox (unedited), Pool Table (maybe darts but wasn't looking) and plenty of TVs to keep you entertained when you're not up for socializing. Looks like they have equipment for karaoke/live music but I'm not sure on the details for that. Plenty of parking in the back across the alley. If you have been unsure on whether to stop on by, well I'm here to say: Stop by and...

This is a great little bar. It's not exactly a classic biker bar anymore but it's pretty close which means the great views are actually plenty of bikes to look at especially in the nice weather. The owner recently updated the back patio and it is amazing! Very much looking forward to it this summer, it's spacious for standing and has great seating. The bar itself has neat history details still like cabinet coolers for the glasses and even the old slide bar is still intact. Bartenders can be hit or miss but it's a small place for the crowd they draw some nights. Their food nights have all been decent so far, no one should expect much for such a small place as far as food goes anyway. The sound system is fantastic for such a small bar as well as the bar games they managed to fit into the place. Out of the bars in town I'd say the White Horse is almost always worth a...
