I called for fifteen minutes, the line was "busy" the whole time. I wanted to place an order to go to be ready so I'd not have to wait, couldn't due to the phone being "busy". I drove there, continuing to call, still getting a busy tone. As I'm walking in the door, I try calling again, and I realize the young man had removed the phone from the hook as to presumably avoid receiving calls, as it had been almost twenty five minutes of me calling receiving a busy signal. He was not on the phone, Instead he was simply hoping to ignore customers by removing it from the hook. I mentioned to him I'd been trying to call for quite some time and I believe his phone is off the hook. He did not apologize for the inconveniences he caused, instead he said, "what do you want" in the most annoyed monotone voice, as though I were truly disturbing his work shift by wanting to order food. I ignored his attitude thinking to myself everyone has a tough day sometimes. I ordered my food, and upon receiving it the pho broth plastic lid had melted into the food (toxic) and I did not receive the proper meat I ordered. I politely informed him I did not receive the correct order, (although I was one of two customers in the entire building) the plastic had melted into the food which is toxic, and I'd like it remade. I was given more attitude. I received my corrected order and I could see the old wrong meat had just been scraped off the top of the noodles and the correct meat placed there.(there were still scraps of the old meat in the container. They just dumped the melted plastic contaminated broth in another container and handed it back to me. Then, they accused me of not ordering my meal correctly, when they've seen me every day for a week order the exact same thing and never had a problem. I was fed up with the treatment at this point and it's sad because I really liked this place. They cook quite well and I did enjoy that, although the treatment I received while giving my hard earned money to these folks (with a generous tip) detours me from deciding to ever return. I don't want to eat toxic plastic chemicals and I'd rather be treated with a bit of respect when my order has been destroyed and not just be handed back the toxic broth in a new container. Customer service needs work, and maybe take more care towards how you present the orders to customers without putting them in harm's way. Don't take the phone off the hook.... And this was a Friday! One of the two busiest days of the week! Why would you deliberately take the phone off the hook to ignore customers orders on a Friday!? I don't know, this really does dissapoint me because they were doing so well up until this point. I'll end up driving the extra distance to Lacey when I want pho from now on, at least that way I can hope to be treated with at...
Read moreIt again another Asian restaurant that scores high enough to almost be closed they scored a 95 on the red with the health inspection anything that is 100 or more is automatically shut down by the health department so that's just five points off I don't know why so many Asian and Asian fusion restaurants seem to score so high on the red which is foodborne illnesses people not washing hands mold mildew Etc but I won't be going here again for a while even if the foods are good I have an autoimmune issue and the last thing I need to do is risk getting sick it really saddens me because some people say it's a culture thing not so sure of that I have friends that live in China Japan Korea and Taiwan and they work in the food profession and they always have to wash their hands make sure everything is at temperature I mean they're regulations are very strict and fines are huge so I don't think that's the issue and I wish I knew what was the issue cuz around here again it seems to be a lot of Asian based restaurants or establishments that again score very poorly when it comes up to Health Department inspections also in case you're wondering what other places I was talking about Happy Teriyaki number four on Marvin scored 180 and they are still closed down almost 3 weeks out which is sad cuz that was one of my go-to...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I have gotten pho here for years, and since it's changed owners, it's gone downhill GREATLY. I keep trying to give it a chance over and over in hopes it'll get better, but after this experience I'm officially done. I placed an order through door dash (normally I pick up), and I got an email saying I was charged $2.51 for my special instructions. My instructions was asking for extra hoisin sauce. I got in total THREE PACKETS of hoisin sauce (it normally comes with 2 I believe), and when I called to see if maybe there was an error, there wasn't. They did nothing to adjust it or to make it right, and apparently charge $2.51 for a tiny packet of sauce. And the pho broth is SO BAD. It used to be so good! Now it has no flavor at all, and I could get better broth from a box in the store. I also used to love their bubble teas, but now the last two times I've gotten tapioca, the balls are like overcooked or something and they're gross. I'm so incredibly sad and disappointed in what this place has turned into. I don't even wanna listen the other experiences since it changed owners.. Don't come here, guys....
