Golden Island Restaurant & Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Yigo Municipality

We ordered Fried Half Chicken, chicken chow mien, honey mayo shrimp, sweet & sour fish, and Yangzhou fried rice. All the dishes were the freshest that we've had in years from a take out restaurant in Yigo! No hard or dry bits of rice in the white rice, no over cooked sweet & sour or sweet & sour with no taste, no honey shrimp without any of the sauce or cabbage with it, and everything didn't taste the same, everything had it's own flavors just as it should be. My husband loved the chicken, we both loved the chow mien, the fried rice was just right, the shrimp was the best I've tried in years also, and the only thing about the sweet & sour fish that I would change at all is it had so much sweet & sour sauce that you couldn't really taste the fish but it still had tons of flavor. Aunty Esther here again. This time, I tried out Golden Island Restaurant in Yigo Guam. You wouldn't know the hidden gem behind these doors. As we entered, you're greeted with a smile and a warm welcome in. You're seated quickly and given menus. Today, we ordered Mongolian Beef, Salt and Pepper Pork Chops, Kang Kung with garlic sauce, and Honey Mayo Shrimp. Boy, the food was outstanding. Everything was so delicious and fulfilling.
