The atmosphere is casual. Food is always served super hot and freshly made on my experience. They have various dishes that I like but the Carne frita with mofongo is my favorite, a little different from the traditional PRican mofongo though. The texture and flavor has little twist to it... Their mofongo is more like Dominican Republic's mangú which is made with boiled plantains instead of fried... but still very good. They have also a bar, pool table and domino table which is cool. This is our second time here and it sure didn’t disappoint! Everything was delicious and you could tell it was all fresh and made authentically and with care. My husband is Puerto Rican and also an excellent cook and he was very pleased with the food as well. This is a very small place that is family owned and all the food is home made. No alcoholic beverages yet, but the food is too good to pass up...
