I feel sorry to say I regret spending my money here. This place does not deserve the 4.7 stars in my opinion. its nothing like other takeout food, everything was bland, it tasted like something you could make at home but worse. But literally, they used ramen noodles instead of real soba noodles for our yakisoba, didnt really have a great flavor either. Fried calamari was very oily and bland, had a thick panko batter that kept crumbling off, the oil tasted weird, i felt nauseous after eating it. Bathroom toilet was stained yellow with piss or some type of sewage. The place does not look the cleanest, lots of clutter everywhere. Only positive thing was that our waitress was very kind. I've been coming here off and on about 2 times a month for a few years now. I don't live in Youngsville and live about 25 mins away. I was passing through so ordered takeout to bring home. Ordered 5 different sushi rolls they were good as always. I love that don't try to rip you off with fillers. I use to be a sushi chef back 15 year ago. I know what real and what not. While in town for work, I was lucky enough to be nearby at lunchtime. The 5 stars lulled me in, but the freshness of the food and amazing welcoming staff will make me return. It's a small place as I entered and sat at the sushibar. The gentleman making the sushi had a kind smile, even in his eyes, as he expertly and quickly creates beautiful plates.
