We snagged takeout from this spot on our way home from a long day of errands and OMG were we pleasantly surprised! We both ordered the Pad See Ew, his spicy with pork and mine mild with tofu, and we shared an order of the Veggie Spring Rolls. Everything was to die for. Tasted like I was back in college in LA eating Thai food at 2am on our way back to the dorms - THAT GOOD. We ordered medium spice for the pork dish and it was perfection. A solid slow burn that builds on the back of your palette, but still somehow gives your whole mouth a warm hug that makes you want to keep diving in for more. The ultimate balance of umami, sweet, and spicy, its comfort food to the core. Our egg rolls were crisp and light but totally satisfying with the balance of veg to noodle and wrapping. I don’t normally like Thai style egg rolls because of the texture of the glass noodle, most places put too much, but this place got it just right! Finally, the tofu was respected, which I so appreciated. It wasn’t dried out, overfried creating a weird ‘crust’, or sopping like big soy sponges ready to explode like gushers throughout the dish. The pieces were a little large, but broke up easily and were still moist, so that’s probably why they keep them bigger when cooking - and I’m not complaining at all cuz it WORKS. We’ll definitely be back to try this place on person and to explore the menu more, but in the meantime we’ll be recommending everyone!

I have been looking forward to the opening. I ordered take out. Red curry with chicken , basil thai noodles seafood combo, and fried calamari. I asked for no bell pepper. Unfortunately, when I got home... there was bell pepper in both the curry and basil noodles. Good news it wasn't too much, so I could still enjoy it for the most part. The calamari was fantastic. The curry was ok.. chicken was sliced very thin and dry. Wouldn't have thought that would be an issue as it was in a curry, but sad to say, it wasn't very enjoyable. As far as the basil noodles.. well... theyvseemed to be a bit over cooked. I only had 3 shrimp , just a few dime sized pieces of scallops, plenty of the squid, but the flavor profile was definitely lacking. For the $$ , I've definitely had much better for less cost off of 10th and council..(not panaang) . It's really dissapointing as I was so excited to have some close to home thai. I will add tho , the ingredients did seem to be pretty fresh. I'll give them another try. Hopefully they get it figured out before then.

I've been waiting a long time anticipating the opening of this location. I was further frustrated to learn it had opened from my brother and sister in law missing the opening. I hang my head in shame. But I digress, the food did not disappoint, staff super friendly, and atmosphere interesting with Thai accents. We ordered the Chicken Sate for the appetizer and was so good. I love peanut sauce and love sate because that is the dipping sauce. I had the Panamg Curry being the first time here as I've had it everywhere and the sweet coconut spicy pepper that gets your nose running had my senses going crazy. This is one of my favorite Thai dishes. My Mom had the Pad Thai also a classic Thai dish and it was as familiar as any I've ever had and super flavorful. You can have things spicy hot or mild or even not at all. Don't let spicy hot let you avoid this place. Will be back for the Mango and Sticky rice desert. It's a classic but I had no room left.

Looking for some delicious food? Look no further. Panang 9 Thai Restaurant is absolutely phenomenal. The gold and black decor and lighting sets a peaceful high end atmosphere. The service is top tier somthing Gordon Ramsey would be blown away with. In this day and age that level of service is so difficult to come by so if that's what you are looking for look no further. This family owned business knows exactly what they are doing. I never had to wonder if the server forgot our party of 4. We had multiple refills without our cups ever running dry. The price is reasonable. The dish I had was superb. I'm on a strict diet from the Dr at the moment and I was searching for anyone who had healthy tasty options.

To start we all 4 enjoyed the order of Spring Rolls (4 Rolls) Crispy spring rolls stuffed with vegetables or pork and glass noodles, served with homemade sweet and sour sauce. Don't let the number 4 fool you they are long and cut in half to share! That also came with a cuecumber salad that is extreamly flavorful a must try!

I selected the beef Ginger Stir-Fried Selected meat or vege stir-fried with ginger, carrots, bell peppers, green onions, baby corns, mushrooms, onions and bean sauce. This was light on my stomach and filling! Guest 2 had the Tom Yom shrimp soup Hot and sour soup with mushrooms in a rich broth of Thai spices, lime juice and chili paste, tomatoes, onions and cilantro (of course I tasted it) it was phenomenal I could eat that every single day if I could. You can taste the level of care they put into each dish.

Guest 3 had the Spicy Stir-Fried shrimp Selected meat or vege. stir-fried with onions, green beans, peppers, chili paste, bell peppers, basil leaves, red curry sauce and spices. If you want spicy this is it!

Guest 4 had the kids Chicken Sate (2 Sticks) With Veggies & Rice that comes with a side of peanut sauce and it was absolutely delectable my picky eaters who always wants Mac and cheese LOVED this meal!

I hope you give this spot a try and if you like dining outdoors there is a beautiful pergola with a lush garden to enjoy...
