Loved the food, tastes like home cooking, and prices are very reasonable! Highly recommend it for good mexican food and we had a great waitress! Place is also good for kids. They had a tv on in another section with a kid movie playing, not loud, just right where it kept the kids attention. It looks small on the outside but roomy inside. The only thing was I ordered a #11 with a folded taco and a tamale and they were out. It wasn't a bad thing because I figured must be that good they are out. I just got another folded taco. Food was served quickly. I am excited to try breakfast here too.

Delicious. This close to the border, I expected it to be good, and it met my expectations. I had tacos Al pastor and I could only eat two and was full. My wife had the carnitas plate. Tiny bit dry, but still quite good. The Salsa was good, and they brought me spicier salsa on request. The flour tortillas tasted homemade. I wish the chips did too. Will definitely be going back next trip to Yuma.

I had the chorizo and eggs breakfast. It came with beans, potatoes, and choice of tortillas. I chose flour. The chorizo had great flavor and was not very greasy like chorizo can be at other restaurants. The beans had excellent tocino flavor. The potatoes were perfectly cooked. I look forward to trying Pepe's Special. Service was friendly.

Gets one star because zero isn't an option. The food was mediocre. The service, on the other hand, was horrendous. I noticed that if you aren't Hispanic, good luck seeing anyone. Three times we actually had to get up and find someone to get a refill, the check and all the food that was forgotten. Even after mentioning that half the order wasn't there, only half of what was actually missing showed up. I can't say that I'll ever be back. My friend and I are extremely patient people. We waited a solid 10-15 minutes between each time to get up and find someone. Our waiter showed up once, and that was when we sat down. When we got someone to get our food, the cups were empty and set on the side of the table (easier to see.) He looked at them and just walked away. 10 minutes later, we just got up to find someone. I can't say enough negative things about this place. Easily the worst experience I've...

We go way back when the original owners owned it and his two boys were the servers. That’s when this restaurant was the best. Great customer service back then. Now, the serving amount was small in portion. We needed to remind the server of everything that we needed, like the basics. Another set of utensils, napkins, tortillas that normally come with the dish, we had to return the corn tortillas because she forgot to ask us which kind we wanted. The horchata drink was watered down. No paper towels in either bathrooms. They offered toilet paper in which to dry our hands. The servers were mindful but we had to ask for everything that we needed. How I miss the original owners and his...

The place is an old house. There's a table set for two where a closet used to be full of clothes. Who cares about how it looks as long as the food is good, right? I was not impressed with my chiles rellenos. Three in my party ordered horchata, we all agreed that it tasted watered down. It would've been better to tell one of us that there wasn't enough horchata left for all three of us. The plates had lots of food in them and we couldn't finish it the problem is we didn't even want to take it home. The waitresses seemed eager to want to get rid of us yet there was still 45 min before closing time. I was disappointed to have read all the positives reviews just to go and experience ...
