Birrieria Del Pueblo & Cantina — Restaurant in Arizona

Good food no complains , cost was good considering the amount of food they gave in regards to the bowl ordered. Would definitely return.

Edit: went again to the new building on Saturday November 3rd and was sadly disappointed. Birria de res ( two ordered a small and a large) had no flavor tasted bland. Had to add plenty of salt and hot sauce to even get some flavoring out. Usually it taste very delicious but this time was tasteless. Had a Pastor quesadilla and let's say taco bells quesadilla taste way better which that itself tells you plenty "pastor meat" didn't taste well and was watery almost. Wife got a tripas taco and took one bit and threw the rest away. I don't like that at all but her comment was it was disgusting tasting. I hesitate to write this review because I feel bad for the one girl who seem to be running the bar and waiting all of the tables. We called ahead because we needed to table for six. When we arrive the restaurant was fairly empty but it took forever to be able to order and over half an hour to get drinks. Time to receive food was also extremely long it took us almost 2 hours to get our meal and pay our checks. I really enjoyed the barbacoa and the other tacos I had were very good but also very dry. The usual sides like cilantro cabbage and other things were not brought to everyone at our table. Menu advertises sangria but doesn't mention the brand or that it's not alcoholic also don't care for chili powder on my Margaritas but that's a personal thing. We went in a party of 10. As soon as we were seated, we were graciously informed that they were short staffed with one cook and one server, so service may not be as fast as normal. The server, who had a distinct nose ring, was awesome dealing with all of us and our orders, refills, etc. Also, for having one cook, the food came out rather fast, given there were ten of us, not including other people in the restaurant.
