Taqueria Los Naranjos — Restaurant in Zion

My first time coming here and my first impression was not good. Had there advertised 2 tacos Supreme beef and the meat was mushy and bland. Over stuffed with veggies hiding the lack of meat in my taco. There was no menu other then the price board above the countrr and the special board on the counter with prices as you can see in tje photo. There is also a $5 minimum to use a card so i had to by a drink. I asked if it came with rice and beans and i was told that is a different price but there was nothing on any board to confirm this or chose it form the get go. I thought i came with it. The place is not well kept. It looks like its under renovation a bit. I can recommend this place. If the beef was that bland, i can't imagine what the pork or anything else tastes like. Went there a week ago and ordered 6 tacos to go. Waited 40min and my tacos still weren't ready! These are tacos, not a fancy entrée. There were still a few people ahead of me so figured forget this and asked for my money back. The guy at the register got kind of pissed as if it were our fault and even said well you guys don't want to wait, etc etc. My husband responded we've been waiting for almost an hour and there are still people ahead of us. His response was rude and not business like at all. He stated well there are other places you can go to. You're damn, right there are and this won't be one of them anymore. Couldn't believe it... he should be ashamed talking like that and pushing people away to not want...

This is absolutely a no frills eatery. Nothing fancy inside, tables and chairs. Walk up ordering window or they do have menus. An unassuming exterior, I've driven by there many times and never noticed it, what a mistake that was! The folks are very kind and work with you on ordering your food if you can't read the menu. I had the grilled steak, my wife had the deep fried tilapia. All the accoutrements were fantastic. Everything was full of flavor, fresh, and made to order. The guacamole was delicious, and their homemade salsa was extremely flavorful and fresh. Do yourself a favor, if you don't want to dine in, order to go. You won't be...
