Lovely and clean, bright and inviting atmosphere. The staff are friendly delivering great customer service. The meal was delicious. We ordered a chicken burger with chips, the chicken in the burger was a good serve, the handmade pasta was cooked al dente and the Bolognese sauce had traditional Italian herbs and garlic with mince and passata just like mamma made with a side of moist garlicy, not dry, garlic bread. Steak was also ordered medium rare, cooked medium rare with chips and salad. With a pre-dinner cocktail and a red for dinner we have (3 adults) eaten out every nite since we arrived and wished we came here on our first nite. We are coming back for a big prekky. Very rarely leave reviews as I hate how they may affect small businesses. Hopefully the owners can improve from mine. Lovely little cafe. Popped in on way to airport for a quick bite to eat. Was sadly disappointed with the Club Sandwich we received. Along with the 4.5% credit card surcharge. Coffee was pretty good. Lady behind the counter was very friendly with lovely smile. If you're in a hotel or resort, then this little local place will beat your accommodation restaurant for quality, serving size and value.

We had nasi Goreng, pepper beef and pork dumplings. All we're delicious and quite substantial serves.

The Boat house is like any small local run cafe back in Australia. They keep it incredibly clean which is an impressive feat given what Port Vila has had to deal with since the earthquake.

Definitely worth going to...
