I took a grab just to go here for seafood, the live crab is 1.35m dong per kilo instead of some reviews saying 350k. Everything is way overpriced. 400k for 10 normal bbq shrimp you can easy get anywhere else for 100k or less
Edit: Since I can't respond to comments, I will put my response here. Yes, as you point out, that's a mistake on my side for not seeing 1.35m. My phone translated the all users' reviews into French, and the number was formatted into 1 350 000, which led to the leading 1 on a separate line, and there's no reason to look for it since I have learned from many food travel blogs with your Tripadvisor page indicating this restaurant as cheap eat place.
Of course I rushed away, after spending 30 min on a grab ride there hoping to get lunch there, why waste any time at a place that I won't eat at? I don't doubt the quality of the restaurant, since you got lots of good review. As you addressed, the price of the food is clearly stated at your venue, but it's nowhere to be found in any pictures. The only place to find the price is through users' reviews. If you want to be more transparent with your future customers, I suggest you to put pictures of your menu here, also asking Tripadvisor to change your pricing from $ to $$$.
Also, talking about not reading reviews, you thought that I have put up the same review on Tripadvisor, so you copied and pasted your response here...
Read moreI usually never write reviews just out of laziness or procrastination. However, with this restaurant, I felt like I needed to share. The owner greeted us with a warm welcome and also bug spray to make sure we were mosquitos free. I usually don’t care for service as I feel as long as the food is good, service is not important to me, however, this was worth mentioning. The food was probably one of the best seafood I’ve ever had. Super fresh and the price was listed all on the menu so there were no discrepancies. In full disclosure, I have not had any other seafood restaurants in Da Nang so I can’t compare the prices, however, the food was prepared by the owner and his wife and they showed great care and pride into their food and cooking (versus if it was made by a mass kitchen staff). You could see him and his wife preparing the food and bringing it right out as soon as it was ready. It was a shame that we were only there for one night or else I would have gone back the next. I highly recommend the grilled razor clam and...
Read moreWe came across this restaurant while searching for a coffee shop with views of Da Nang. We didnt expect much from it since it was pretty new. However, it was such a pleasant surprise. This coffee shop has tables up on the mountain/forest, and the higher up you go, the greater view you have. The tables are shades by lots of surrounding trees and umbrellas. Drinks and food were very good. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the local attractions. They gave us very great tips during our trip to Da Nang. Will update after we come back and try their seafood selections!
Update: we tried their seafood restaurant side today, and it exceeded our expectations! Seafood is VERY fresh and delicious! Most of the seafood are wild-caught by the owners. We tried fresh oysters with wasabi, broiled squid, a couple snails dishes and some fresh fishes in broth. HIGHLY...
