BonPas Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

[English below] Mình hay đến BonPas cơ sở Lê Duẩn và thỉnh thoảng ghé cơ sở NVL khi mình còn là sinh viên. Mình thường uống các loại nước ép và pizza hoặc mua bánh kem trong các dịp đặc biệt. Thật sự bánh và nước không quá đặc sắc nhưng ở mức ổn và gần trường và trung tâm nên mình hay ghé. Tuy nhiên hôm nay, mình và các bạn Hà Nội có dạo Helio nên tạt vào BonPas cơ sở gần đó. Trải nghiệm đầu tiên phải nói là đáng thất vọng. Khi mình vào quán, mình xách theo đồ ăn vặt như hình. Nhân viên hỏi mình là uống tại quán hay mang đi. Mình bảo là uống tại quán. Nhân viên không hề nói gì cả. Đến khi mình order xong + trả tiền, nhân viên mới bảo là không được mang đồ ăn vào quán. Nhân viên sẽ giữ đến khi tụi mình cafe xong sẽ trả lại. Đây là đồ ăn vặt, dạng fast food, mình nghĩ nó chả ảnh hưởng gì đến quán cf cả. Hay là cf này có bán bánh nhưng mình không mua bánh nên không được mang đồ ăn vào? Thử hỏi, vừa cf vừa tám với bạn bè, enjoy thức ăn vặt, chứ sau 2 tiếng ngồi cf, bạn có còn muốn ăn 2 hộp đó sau khi đặt trong điều hòa đến nỗi khô cứng lại? Nếu khi không cho mang đồ ăn vào thì nên nói trước hoặc có bảng chú ý chứ nhỉ? Về đồ uống, mình gọi 2 trà đào (hôm nay mình muốn đổi khẩu vị) và 1 trà đậu biếc chanh dây. Trà đào ngọt nhưng không bị gắt, còn trà đậu biếc chanh dây thì phải nói quá tệ, bạn mình phải đổ thêm nước đá vào để uống cho bớt ngọt! I have been a regular at BonPas coffee shops in city center (on Le Duan Street and on Nguyen Van Linh Street since I was a university undergraduate. I used to drink juice and eat pizzas and I bought cakes on special occasions. In fact, the quality of fruit juice and cakes here was not outstanding but okay for me and these shops are in the city center and near my university, so I often reached there. However, today my friends from Hanoi and I went to Helio, so I decided to go to BonPas on XVNT Street, which is near from Helio. I would like to say that the service quality here is very terrible and the drinks are not good. When I came to this coffee shop, I brought fast food and the staff definitely saw it. The staff asked me whether we wanted to drink in this coffee shop or take away. I said that I would like to drink there. And then they said nothing. After I ordered the drinks (2 cups of peach tea and 1 cup of butterfly pea flower tea with passion fruit) without buying any bread and paid money, they told me that I couldn't eat what I bought outside in this coffee shop. I wondered why they didn't tell me at the beginning. I wondered why they didn't stick any board of rules on the wall. Who could eat fast food after 2 hours of being kept in air-conditioning condition? Who could eat when fast food became hard? Haizzzz. In terms of the two kinds of drinks I ordered, they weren't good as I expected. Peach tea is not good; it's quite sweet. Butterfly pea flower tea with passion fruit is too sweet, I mean it's too much sugar :( My friend had to mix water into the drink :(

☕ 🥯 Excellent coffee and bakery place, as a French I can vouch for their croissants... as the rest of their food! If you don't fancy sweet there's plenty of mini pizza or Ham&Cheese variations, the ingredients are listed in English.

📝More Info: The price is also very good compared to the rest of Da Nang. You pick on a plate what you want and they will heat it before bringing it to you, with the drink served upstairs. The staff is lovely, speaks a bit English, enough to explain how it works don't worry.

The prices are reasonable, I think cheaper than reasonable :). The stuff is friendly and some of them can speak English, the place is clean, but toilet is not good, there wasn't soap. They use paper straws, not plastic. The Design of the Cafe is really good. We ate a small piece of chocolate cake, donut and salted egg milk.
