Service: great service, very attentive. Just a bit difficulty in communication as staffs doesn't speak good English. Use simple 1 word to communicate, managed to work out.
Food: ordered seafood rissoto, prawn linguine, and cod fish. Rissoto and linguine super yummy, did not expect good food quality at all as it is placed in a '5 star' hotel (which does not live up to expectations). At the end of our dinner, they served us a cake which tasted delicious! It tastes fresh, not too sweet, soft and spongy! I think is a banana cake with jam as filling.
Atmosphere: good, nice high class ish design and decor. Could be a good place for special nights.
Extra info: There is a promotion ish thing going on for dinner, which is 1 free beer and starter for each person while dinning from 6pm-7.30pm. had difficulty in checking whether promotion still going on, but managed to clarify with some back and forth short sentences. And the starter offered was scallop and it is GOOD. The waitress (which didn't manage to get the name) super attentive. Wanted to share the dishes with my mom, but didn't want to bother the waitress again as it is difficult to communicate. We just eat off from the same plate while taking each other food, she was quick to notice and bring use plates and utensils for sharing. Anddd the bread basket and garlic butter offered was good as well.
Hope you all will give this...
Read moreBUGS EVERYWHERE. Crawling all over the table. Plates, cutlery. Getting stuck in drinks. No amount of shooing could get rid of these. This restaurant dresses up like fine dining but is mediocre at best. The neon lights make it look tacky and cheap. The table set up is a nice idea but charger plates were dirty so first impressions werent great. The food was just okay. Welcome drink was passionfruit and sparkling water mix which was tasty but unfortunately the bugs drowned in it. We booked thru restaurant week and did not receive our complimentary carlsburg. The first course and second course shrimp were grilled well but the linguine itself was so dry. The refreshing sorbet in between courses was just strawberry icecream with sprinkles which tasted cheap and freezer burnt. The sprinkles cheapened everything. Their signature gold beef was delicious. Well seasoned and grilled well, but the potatoes tasted powdered or instant. Dessert was disgusting. Inedible. Overall even gold beef couldnt salvage this experience. Do not eat here. Mediocre service too, they just stand around and its so hard to get their attention Not to mention closer to 15% service charge on top...
Read moreMy family and I visited this restaurant during the fireworks show. The price is more expensive than other restaurants in Da Nang, but the quality of food and drinks is just average. Buffet for $1.500.000/person. But only one drink is included with the meal. If you want to add another drink, even if it is just water, you will need to pay extra. In addition, the website said that you can enjoy the fireworks view, but there were many people that night. Most people can't fully enjoy the entire scene after some person leaving their seats. In addition, the price is not directly proportional to the service quality of the staff. They seemed untrained and rushed around, constantly walking back and forth behind the guests' chairs. Affects the atmosphere in which everyone eats. So all in all, I wouldn't recommend this place. There are many economy restaurants in Da Nang with better food and better service...
