I really love such beautiful cafes where they collect a lot of old items, place many plants and really try to make the interior look special and artistic. But that’s it.
First of all, it took a while to explain that we wanted to sit outside. On the 1st floor all tables were busy and I accidentally saw a veranda, they said it’s occupied because someone is taking pictures. Then two seconds later someone comes down and they said ok, you can go up now. We go up and there is like pile of empty tables so I don’t understand why we wasted time on none existent issue. But that’s not something horrible, language barrier can be issue and ok. Then we ordered egg coffee and regular coffee. We waited for the order pretty long time. There were many people and fine but when they brought coffee, the ice in the milk coffee is almost gone so it was watery and not even cold anymore. As if they were bringing coffee from another city😂 So basically they ruined the coffee. On top of that the price isn’t cheap so drinking watery coffee can be upsetting. We could complain and ask normal coffee but do you think it was worth it? Overall the place itself was nice, the egg coffee was delicious, if you are from Soviet countries you most likely know Gogol-mogol, so this is what it is. Another big downside to be aware of which I wouldn’t blame the restaurant but it exists. Because of the lake or whatever it is, the entire restaurant smells like a dumpster because the water must be dirty. If you are very sensitive to smells, I recommend you not to come here. My husband even felt a bit sick of smell and we had to...
Read moreRun, ride, grab, drive or do whatever you can to get to this spot! Absolutely agree with other views that this may be the best coffee shop in Da Nang.
Firstly the outlook, nestled right next to a bustling marina watching the local fisherman go about their day working on their boats is such a treat.
The coffee shop is surrounded by lush gardens, and then the real treat is the custom furniture made from upcycled wood and the antique items that have been carefully selected from around Vietnam and placed in the most perfect position to create special and unique spaces.
Everywhere you look is interesting and beautifully curated. If you’re lucky you’ll get to speak with the owner who shares the journey of creating this masterpiece.
And I haven’t even started on the coffee yet. Again perfection, coconut coffee is perfection, egg coffee is perfection. Only thing that could make this place better was if there was food available and more specialty drinks so you could really settle in for hours on end.
Staff take exceptional service to the next level, nothing is too much trouble and they patiently follow you through the shop until you find your perfect spot so they can give you instant personalised attention. The parking attendant thoughtfully moving our motorbike out of the sun so it remains shaded and the seat doesn’t get hot. Oh and the bathrooms are just as stunning as all the other spaces and even have their own fans.
This cafe is a little out of the way, but trust me when I say it will be all be...
Read moreNoi- The Cabin is one of my favorite “hanging out” cafes in Da Nang. That’s a bold statement given so many cool cafes in town. However, the Noi brand is a well-established and has other top preforming locations in Da Nang, on the city side. Noi- The Cabin, the newest location, has a beautiful view of the harbor and of the colorful fishing boats with Son Tra mountain in the background. The cafe is in what looks to be an old wearhouse or factory related to the fishing industry. It is an open concrete construction with a metal pitched roof with large arched windows looking out to one of the most picturesque views in the Son Tra peninsula. The decore inside mirrors the other Noi locations, which is an eclectic, retro mix of old things. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor spaces; some undercover and some not. There is an upper floor and back patio where the best view are to be had. The service is attentive and the drinks are good with prices similar to other popular cafes. You definitely do not want to miss Noi- The Cabin when you...
