Geminai Restaurant — Restaurant in Đồng Hới

The hotel is located beside Nhat Le river with good view. The room is not quite clean especially the pillows, when take off the cover they look really dirty, so I have to cover them by my clothes. But there is a most uncomfortable thing make me feel unhappy about this hotel: I have booked this hotel for 4 days and paid the bill also before I come. But then I got personal stuff and at the 1st day I came to the hotel, I told them that cant stay until the 4th day, just 3 days only, the guy said Ok Ok Ok sir but dont tell anything about the hotel rule or about the fee for 4th day that I have paid. Until the 3th day, when I about to leave and mention abt the 4th day fee, they tell the booking agent that I had used do not agree to refund the 4th day fee for me. I called the agent and then they checked my case with the hotel. I have to go soon so I let the hotel and booking agent work together. After few hours the booking agent called and said that the hotel DO NOT agree to refund to me so they cant do anything. I called the hotel and they said it is the hotel rule, when you have paid for your booking, no refund anyway. Omg the fee for 1 day stay is not much, but at the 1st day when I mention abt this, they should tell abt this rule and everything will be okay. But they dont. After that they tell the booking agent was not allowed to refund the cash back not the hotel, but it is not true. The way the solve the problem make me feel they dont want to refund the fee from the begining and tried to push the responsibility to the others. I wont came back this...

Unfortunately, the staff is not able to book a taxi. One day in advance we asked several times and we were either told that the staff will do it in the morning or that somebody would leave a message so that it is ensured that the taxi will be there the next day. As expected nothing was arranged. At 5:50 am I had to wake up the staff to ask if the taxi will be there at 6:15 am. I was ensured that this is no problem. We left the hotel by taxi at 6:30. There was no time for a quick breakfast at the train station anymore since the train left at 6:55. This is just annoying, especially since this was our only request while staying with Geminai...location is good, so is breakfast, but they they really only want to sell you a tour, a motorbike or anything else. For example, we were told to rent a scooter to go to the beach because it is 4km away. Luckily we had researched in advance that it is just around 1.5 km. You definitely get what you pay for with this hotel. We booked two rooms - one quadruple room (4 beds) and one room with two twin beds, after we saw all the good reviews for this hotel on Google, TripAdvisor, and several other websites. Upon arrival, we were pretty impressed. Staff is very friendly and the lobby is pretty modern looking. The hotel doubles as a cafe and they have a variety of food and drink options. Our rooms, unfortunately, were disgusting. Again, they looked nice at first glance. But upon inspection, bathrooms were stained, all of the sheets on the bed (fitted sheet and top sheet) were stained, all of the beds had pieces of hair under the covers, and one bed had unidentifiable black particles.
