Adam & Eva Cafe — Restaurant in Đồng Hới

Stayed in the homestay here. The prices on the menu change at night. A coffee goes from 20,000 to 40,000. The double room was very large, with two double beds and a bathroom. Needed to use a mosquito coil as the room wasn’t sealed. The music downstairs was nice, it was very loud, but finished around 10pm and was actually nice to see young adults perform modern Vietnamese music. Upon checkout we were charged in USD converted to VND. They charged us at 24,000 to 1USD. The current rate is 23,300. It’s not a massive deal, and this slight price hike happens a lot at accommodation, so I’d recommend to book using VND so you don’t get charged an extra 50,000 or so. Other than that, friendly &...

I stayed in the dormitory and it was amazing. I’ve found another home!

The Staff is not „stuff“ they are friends and I felt very welcomed and comfortable.

I even got offered that I can use the kitchen - but very close by there is a amazing vegan restaurant -so I didn’t need.

Also the bar is THE bar for musicians in the town. So in the evening often the local musicians are coming and doing some jam sessions and i made friends with them.

I highly recommend it for everyone. If you can play a instrument, enjoy to sing or are interested in music, it’s a must go!

Came here last night. Great place for a couple, or a small group. It was open mic night and the people that went up were good. Nice little seating area outside for maybe 3 or 4 small groups, and nice seating inside.

Cocktails were nice (the Adam was very good - the blue lagoon I would avoid, it’s not very nice).

The owner was great, really friendly, and when he had a spare moment was talking to people in the bar. Always smiling which makes you feel more welcome.

When we left around 10pm it had started raining heavily so he kindly asked if we wanted any help getting a taxi. Great service, really nice atmosphere. If we had longer in Dong Hoi we...
