I have been here a couple of times for a drink or a coffee, which I enjoyed.
However, this review will describe my dining experience. I ordered pork ribs, a pot of rice and orange juice. The orange juice cost me 35k with i would call a scam for such a tiny glass. Next, to the ribs. For ~200 you will get 6-7 ribs with sauce and it looks quite...boring. There are just those 6 ribs on the plate, and that’s it. No garnish, no veggies, not even a parsley leaf!
So, after eating a couple ribs my hands got, naturally, got greasy. The waitress didn’t bring any napkins/wet wipes with the meal, and she is nowhere to be found. Not a problem, there is always a toilet room.
However, the restaurant designed as several Mnong long houses and u have to take off your shoes before going upstairs to one of the tables. And it was quite uncomfortable (and humiliating) to limp in my untied shoes (hands are too greasy to tie, remember) to the toilet room , which is quite far away.
I would suggest to assign a waitress to each section of the restaurant that would assist guests...
Read moreArul House is hands down the best restaurant in all of Buon Ma Thuot. This place lives up to its stellar reviews, and I wish hidden gems like this were more common! The restaurant is surrounded by lush greenery, and the wooden buildings create a cozy garden vibe that’s perfect any time of day. We sat outside and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere as the rain began to pour, making it even more serene. The staff was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making us feel well taken care of.
As for the food, it was nothing short of amazing. You can truly taste the distinct flavors that the Ede people use in their cuisine—it’s one of a kind. The smoked tilapia is a must-try, as is the braised goat. If you’re feeling adventurous and have a group, I recommend trying their traditional homemade fermented rice wine—it’s huge and adds to the experience. I’ll definitely return to Arul House next time I’m in BMT for more delicious...
Read moreThis one and Gon Garden are the 2 famous and luxury pricing local food restaurant but they have different atmostphere. I much prefer Arul for decor and services. The wooden house is nice and the feeling is very cultural. The staff was nice, recommended us good food and very attentive, explained to me how the house was made and who built it, also helped other customer to find a pillow when her child need to sleep. There was also nice welcome drink after we order the food. We only order 3 dishes here but all met our expectations, much better quality compared to Gon Garden eventhough the pricing is a little bit cheaper. So this is a must visit place when you have a chance to go to...
