I think this is the worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel is unorganized and the communication within the staff is absolutely terrible. Here are a few issues I encountered during my stay at the hotel:
I needed a place to stay at for 7 days and the hotel mentioned that it was possible as long as I change to a different room mid-way through my stay. Halfway through my stay, I went to the front desk to ask about switching rooms and I was told that there wasn’t any new room for me to switch into and that I needed to checkout now. I’ve already prepaid for all seven days and I was about to get kicked out halfway through my stay. This was resolved only after they called over their manager(?) who noted that I could stay in my room since my room is now available for all 7 days (apparently the new guest cancelled their stay in my room, lucky for them I guess).
I placed a sign “Do Not Disturb” outside of my room for all 7 days as I was not interested in letting anyone clean my room. The sign was written in both English and Vietnamese but I found that someone still went into my room to clean it anyway. Thankfully, nothing was misplaced but I don’t understand why the sign wasn’t respected?
The hotel offers a perk for washing/drying/ironing two clothing items per day. Every time the items are cleaned, the staff would place them inside my room’s closet when I’m not in my room to open the door. This isn’t much to complain about but I had a sign for Do Not Disturb outside of the door… so I’m confused as to why they didn’t respect that sign.
FINALLY, they charged me for two 500ml water bottles that I did not order from them. I have been buying water bottles from outside and bringing them back to the hotel. I placed the empty bottles on the table as the courtesy for them to recycle. I believe they assumed those empty bottles were from the hotel and charged me for them. They insisted that they investigated and found that the two water bottles were from the hotel. I asked them to please check if I have ever called to order any water bottles and they said they “investigated” ??? This investigation was not transparent at all and I believe they only looked at the empty bottles in the room and made the assumption that it was their bottles.
Overall, this is a terrible hotel with terrible communication amongst the staff members. I was almost kicked out halfway through my stay despite pre-paying for the full 7-day stay. I was charged for water which I have already paid for outside. And it seems like people within the hotel are able to enter and leave my room whenever even when I have placed a sign to not enter. Please don’t stay here if you value your mental health because I was constantly stressed during my...
