Horizon Coffee - BBQ — Restaurant in Da Lat City

On September 8th, 2024 me and my girlfriend had dropped in to take a photo of the beautiful view this restaurant has to offer. She had told me we would need to buy a drink in order to take a picture which i was fine with partially because i was thirsty anyways. So we ordered our peach tea, paid and then she sat down while i went to take pictures. When i had turned around to walk back to her i noticed there was staff talking with her. When i returned she informed me of what was happening, he wanted us to either order another drink or pay 30.000VND just for her to sit there. We were not told while ordering a drink that we would need to order or pay for another person just to sit, no signs, nobody verbalized this until after we had already paid. Not to mention, the staff were not the most welcoming people either. I do have to say, the drink looked amazing, the view was amazing but the service...

Great coffee place with massive seating areas for 60-100 people but there was less than a handful during the time we were there. Very well laid out seating areas and the view is pretty amazing. There's areas you can have 160-180 degree of viewing of the nearby mountain (hills really). Most of the coffee is 55k VND which means not a lot of local folks will come here. Mostly targeting tourists... Quite a wide area for parking your bikes and smaller cars can come down the path to this cafe. Quite nice and cool during the late afternoon but expect it to be much cooler as the sun goes down. This side is more for the sunrise than the sunset though... The drinks were pretty good. One star for the view (which is not that great as on their ad), one star for the male employees which were very helpful and that’s it! It was a bit hard to find the exact location without using Google Maps. The girl who took our order was being plain rude and obnoxious. Me: “Can i please have soda berry?” Her annoying af face: “Ok. Yours is 45!” Me: “I’ll pay for my friend.” My friend ordered her drink. The cashier, again with the same poor attitude: “Yours is 90!” And we were confused at best cause wth is 90? 90 for just my friend drink or it was the total.
