A terrible experience – not worth the money at all!
This so-called “weasel coffee farm” is nothing more than a rundown area with a few sickly civets kept in small, filthy cages. Despite the flashy label, there’s nothing authentic about this place.
The tour guide lacked even the most basic knowledge about coffee and simply recited empty, superficial lines—it was honestly laughable.
The customer service was equally disappointing: unprofessional and careless. The biggest letdown came when I tried their so-called “premium” coffee. As someone with a background in coffee, I can say the quality was extremely poor—even worse than regular clean coffee.
And can you believe it? A place with just a handful of civets claims to produce thousands of kilos of weasel coffee every year. It’s blatant deception and completely unacceptable.
Paying 200,000 VND to visit this place was a complete mistake. I strongly urge everyone NOT TO VISIT TRAI HAM WEASEL COFFEE FARM IN DA LAT—don’t support such dishonesty and...
Read moreI came to this place based on a recommendation from the hotel without reading the reviews beforehand, and I truly regret it. The experience was terrible and not worth visiting at all.
The staff were extremely unprofessional: they spent their time joking around with each other instead of focusing on their work, and they couldn’t answer even simple questions. Their attitude was careless, even rude, which made me feel disrespected as a customer.
Right upon arrival, I was pressured to buy coffee at 200,000 VND, but the quality was very ordinary and nothing special. The area where they prepared the coffee was extremely dirty, with trash placed right next to the cups and glasses. The restroom was dark, damp, and filthy to the point that I didn’t dare to step inside. The civet cages were also dirty, with only a few weak animals, making the tour meaningless.
With such service and staff management, it is hard to believe this is a...

The service is perfect where the two ladies who have good knowledge about the weasel coffee process.
At first, they will walk you through a little farm tour and there you’ll get to know more about how the coffee beans are made, and then they’ll walk you to a place where the civet are fed, there are around 10-15 fat civets in the separate cages.
Back to the counter, your choice is to take a cup of weasel coffee (200K for a hand-drip coffee, other choices including latte, milk coffee is 100k/cup).
The area is spacious and has open air seats, there are 3 fluffy dogs which you may find a bit scary upon your arrival since they bark at you but lately it was fine, they won’t...
