Good day, last night I went to Al Frescos in Aeon mall- Ha Dong. I had a terrible experience there from the food to the service. Being a member with Al Frescos for the past 4 years now and only having good experiences, I am currently contemplating never returning with my friends or family. When we arrived at the branch at nearly 9pm to eat, we were greeted by a waitress who ONLY spoke in Vietnamese. She did not know a single word of English. We gave our entire order to her and she responded back ONLY in Vietnamese with full sentences which we had no idea of the meaning. The seafood creamy spaghetti was the worst we had ever tasted yet we gobbled it down because we were starving (All 4 of us). The prawns were tiny, the sauce tasted off like blue cheese and the squid was hard and not cooked properly at all. We also ordered cheesy garlic bread which hardly had cheese and the chicken in the quesadilla tasted awful and almost raw. Then a lady (who SPOKE English) with a white shirt came to clean up our table and just cleaned half of it, then went to sit down and fold napkins or whatever. She left us all dumbfounded. When we eventually asked for the bill, they did not ask us about our membership and my phone had died. So on top of this insane experience, I was not able to get my points for this meal added onto my app and when I try it now at home, it does not work . Which makes me feel like I've lost even more by this...
Read moreA few weeks ago, I placed an order for delivery and some mistakes were made with the order. I informed the store of the mistakes because my son was really disappointed: he worked hard to earn his pizza, but it was too late to wait for a replacement. So, the store left a note for me to get a free pizza when I visited the restaurant. I haven't returned because I've been busy, but Ms. Quynh called me yesterday to remind me of the free pizza. I spoke to Ms. Quynh the night of the original order and she could hear my son's disappointment. I honestly believe she shared his sadness. I know we are just talking about a pizza, but this is the kind of relationship that makes Ms. Quynh and her staff one of the best in the city.
The food is really good too. I've been in Hanoi for 13 years and they are constantly changing their menu. I highly recommend...

Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. This is definitely a place I will revisit and recommend to friends and family.
