Tonight, I had the honor of dining at Restaurant Bêp Thai Koh Yam, and I can say without a shred of exaggeration that it was a culinary experience that surpassed all expectations. The food here is not only authentic and delicious, it even transcends the flavors I have experienced in the many Thai restaurants I visited during my travels through Thailand.
Our meal commenced with a serving of fried mushrooms that were perfectly crispy and delightfully seasoned. The Pad Thai with shrimp was a heavenly tangle of flavors and textures, the best I’ve ever tasted. The glass noodles with vegetables were light and refreshing, while the famed papaya salad brought an explosion of spicy and tangy flavors that had our taste buds dancing with joy. The rice served in a pineapple was a creative and flavorful touch, and the Tom Yam Kung was the perfect balance of spicy and aromatic.
Not only was the food impeccable, but the service was also exemplary. We were fortunate to be served by Pham Tuan Minh, whose attentiveness, professionalism, and warmth made our evening out extra special. His recommendations were spot-on, and his care for our well-being was genuine.
Each dish at Bêp Thai Koh Yam tells a story of the rich Thai culinary tradition, with a touch of modernity that’s unique to this remarkable restaurant. If you are seeking an unforgettable Thai dining experience, Bêp Thai Koh Yam is the place to be. It’s not merely a meal, but a journey for your senses to the heart of Thailand. I am already looking forward to returning and exploring more of their...
Read morePretty OK thai food for Vietnam. It is not 100% authentic but taste is decent. Tom Yum is more a mixture of Tom Yum and Tom Kha, Tom Yum should not be sweet. Laab tasted ok but not spicy. Service was good and attentive staff. The "Phad see ew" was actually good and I would say it is close to what you could be served in Thailand.
Granted I understand that the restaurants may adjust the flavours slightly to fit more to the locals and if they served 100% authentic flavours it might be too spicy, salty and sour. Not a bad experience if you want to eat some thai food whilst in...
Read moreFood tastes nice, yet some portions are too small for the price. Better go in a group to enjoy promotion/ combo. The drinks took quite some time to arrive (which is why they are not in the photos); the order of dishes was not reasonable: the rice and pad thai came first, then the salad, tom yum soup, and beef. Staff are polite, yet at peak hour it gets a bit chaotic. VAT is not included in the menu prices (it is either 8 or 10%, I don't...
