Khao Lao — Restaurant in Hà Nội

For the lunch of three persons, visited at around 12. Ordered drinks and fried rice, noodle, fried vegetable, and tom yum cung. Getting full the restaurant soon, while I could see only three servers on the floor. It took 20 min to have the drinks, after the complaint, had the fried vegetable and tom yum cung at 12:40, 50 the fried rice and noodle at 12:50. It could happen, however the problem is that the servers provided the foods to the tables, not only one table, came late. No sorry with my complaint. I know it is not a bad restaurant, but at this lunch, they even reduced the materials for the tom yum cung, the noodle was stuck each other (so bad). khao Lao is under REDPLUS. Kudos to their seasoning, excellent tastes, helpful staff although they don't know much about Laos cuisine. Food takes 15-20' to serve. Curries with small portions, extra charge for rice aside. Don't forget your VAT when check out! Happy to recommend stir fry noodles...

Mix of Laos and Thai cuisine from what I can tell. The chicken curry was very coconuty, which was really nice. Big fan of that. In comparison to the size of the curry, there wasn’t that much chicken in the dish. Rice has to be ordered...
