Extremely terrible experience. The employees are very rude (Nhân viên có thái độ rất tệ, ko gian vô cùng nóng, đồ ăn k ngon)
We booked the table in advance but when we came, no table was ready for us. We were being pushed back and forth between 2 ladies in white shirt (i believe as main coordinators). At first they told us to stand still and wait then leave us there. After not seeing both for a while, i found the seemingly senior one & ask, at first she told us to try to go "there" to find our table, when i ask "where is there" cause all we can see is a complete mess, people try to find tables, she SCOLDED at us "we don't have responsibility to find your table, you need to go get it yourself" ?????? I cant understand it - why is it customer responsibility to fight for our table?
After the Junior coordinator found a table where the diners there r about to finish, she asked my parents to stand there and wait for them to finish. Imagine how uncomfortable the diners must feel
When ordering, we were required to go to a separated area as a mini fish markets. The menu is there only but no price shown. The one who took my orders ask me to wait for them to weight the crabs, but it was very confusing as in how do I know which would be my crabs lol. There were a lot of screaming, someone screamed "who 2 crabs is it for?" Then the lady told me go check lol. A complete mess
At our table, it was very hot so i asked the lady in black uniform nearby to help check if she can turn the fan near by to share for us. She had a very rude attitude and showed clearly through her eyes and body language. Also when we asked how to order drinks at table, she can only named options, no menu, very inconvenient. The tables (mostly outdoor) are extremely hot.
The food isnt good either. Esp the soup, very sour and lacking of tomato. My fam had it 3 days in a row so we know how bad it is at this restaurant. Such a miserable meal experience.
Im vietnamese, i go eat at seafood restaurant a lot. I had a meal in Hồng Hạnh 3 just 1 day before - a nearby restaurant where it's even more crowded but I never had such a bad experience as I did here. It ruined our family meal there.
So mad that I would literally tell everyone i know who plan to go to Halong to avoid...
Read moreAfter booking by telephone, arrived to basically discover no reservation had been noted down. Eventually was give a vip room. This was the beginning of a pretty bad experience that really did not align with reviews here sadly. Arriving hungry took the suggestion from the staff as to what to order. There was virtually no starter available ended up with sweet potato and corn fries, transpired to be the highlight of the meal. The remaining dishes arrived slowly thereafter and mostly were cold. The fried shrimp was the next best thing but quite greasy. The garoupa fish was cooked well, and tasted fine, but was severed without any warmer and arrived warm not hot. The fish porridge wasn’t hot, the fried pork cold. The vegetables looked like they were a week old, the soup arrived so late, the meal was over. The final touch to a poor experience was the cockroach climbing the wall of the VIP suite. A very bad overall experience, which the staff said was because they were busy, I would suggest you simply avoid the...
Read moreRacist, rude, next to no food apparently available. We were told certain food available only for Vietnamese people. Stay away, we left immediately. Don’t deserve any money from any tourists.
Edit: the waitress actually understand and spoke very good English. The whole time it was obvious you didn’t want westerners in the restaurant. We ordered drinks a while before ordering food - they never came. Then we ordered food while still waiting for drinks (only four Coke so shouldn’t take too long) to be told we wouldn’t like any of the things we initially wanted to order. Told the fish is ‘dry and chewy’ and the chicken is ‘tough and old’. We never received drinks and were basically forced out the restaurant by being told we wouldn’t like anything. Disgusting, racist restaurant that make excuses when outed. They let us leave like they expected us to give up - like we did. They seemed relieved when we left....
