Lonely Planet list this is as one of the top restaurants to try in Haiphong, so we went when we were craving some Thai food. (I really thought there would be more of it on offer in this city, TBH.) Wasn't sure what to expect reading the mixed reviews here and the restaurant was empty except for us while we dined. However the food exceeded my expectations, albeit was a little pricy for the area. Ordeed the red curry veg and pad Thai and both were tasty and good sized portions. The service was quick and polite. Lovely. Have a glass of wine and you could be in Cape Town or Santa Barbara. Beautiful dining room and attentive service. Food was pretty good too. It is expensive for Haiphong, especially if you order a bottle of wine, about $75 for 3 people, 6 dishes, 3 beers and a bottle of wine (but it's fresh white wine, and no one serves fresh white wine here).
