Exceptional service and great food at Mad Cow HP.
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They know the menu inside out and are more than happy to assist with questions and can offer great wine pairing suggestions. From the moment you arrive on the 31st floor, you are greeted by a genuinely warm welcome, and the same level of hospitality continues seamlessly into the restaurant.
The quality of the food was excellent. Our steaks were perfectly cooked. Having visited the restaurant on several occasions, I have had the opportunity to sample various dishes. The Antarctic toothfish being a firm favourite and the miso glazed sweet potatoes are delicious. There is also a good selection of plant-based options.
The wine selection is extensive with options for different budgets and palate preferences.
You have the choice of indoor or outdoor seating with specular views over the city. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is perfect for a relaxed meal.
The staff really go the extra mile in making your experience at the restaurant unforgettable. It is clear that customer service is a top priority.
Highly recommended and not just for...

Hot - good (steaks), felt a little burnt and not as juicy as it should be, the sauce for meat (wine) tasted unpleasant.
Dessert (lemon cheesecake) - awesome. Drinks (Margarita) - excellent, tasty and rich, just for the sake of its unusual taste it is worth coming back again.
stunning view of the city, at night everything is in lights. There is also a bar on the floors above and a veranda. The place is very promising, just improve the kitchen a little and it...

Claimed to be the first proper steakhouse in Hai Phong, it certainly was nice but with room for improvement.
The hotel was lovely, didn’t feel like you’re in Vietnam. Service was attentive, everyone spoke English and very smiley! However for a steakhouse I reckon lights could be dimmer.
Now on to the food… overall it was cold. We had the octopus for appetiser, T bone and lamb chops. I know steaks need to be rested before serving but it should still be warm. Needed a bit more char and seasoning. Fries were soggy and the baked camembert...
